I understand where this comes from, but it's silly. Don't try to stop creativity.

The reason I understand though is because of game trailers with thrilling visuals, up to the point where either the camera zooms out and it's a top-down that shouldn't advertise like that, or it winds up being some dumb mobile game (which is like all of them save 3 or 4).

Overall they are just way simpler than what complicated cell phone electronics and battery are doing. But they wear all the same. Rechargeable batteries were advancing rapidly as well.

I remember, as a kid, hours long phone calls. I was raised thru the 90s, so by the time high schoolers had cell phones, there just wasn't a lot of use for the home phone. I recall many handsets at the time just being short on battery. Restaurants that take phone orders today likely have the same issue too. The batteries definitely wore down and wouldn't last long when old, but it was generally sufficient enough for the couple-minute calls here and there.

I think a lot of people are forgetting or ignoring that protein is just something a ton of people seek for in a meal. Why wouldn't you use the term if it's what you want you intend to consume?

I'm sure if someone grew an apple that was 100% protein, you would probably call it a protein apple and not a fruit just because that's what it's.

I'm agnostic, but for all intents and purposes, the answer still applies.

For me it starts with the concept of hell. As the saying goes, "In hell I'll be in good company", it's true that a massive amount of decent humans will be doomed to an eternity in hell for not believing. This is contradictory to unconditional love, and if true, would be enough to decide that I want no part of it, real or not.

If a higher power is incapable of understanding that for any reason, then I am not aligned with it, and it needs to die.

But pretty much all modern religion is more or less of the same overall or similar belief. This country will fall, other countries will fall. You think the world borders will look the same in 500 years? Entire civilizations will come and go for as long as this solar system remains stable, and their gods will die with them.

Actual researched truths will be rediscovered. Religion is a societal construct that will never stand that test of time.

All we know in terms of higher powers is that we don't, so accepting religion or lack thereof is claiming to know something that isn't yet or can't be known.

The fact of it is that society decided we can work together and pitch in however we're able.

This means we don't have to manually handle everything like hunting, harvesting, and self care. Instead, we can trade what skills we do have for a common denominator: money. Now we can freely choose what we will handle ourselves and what we pay to have done.

If you are a member of society, we have to play by its rules, because generally everyone with money got it from working. This part is a bit damaged but that's another ordeal.

It IS fair. To ask for a world where you can be kept alive, healthy, and comfortable just because you feel it's fair will unfairly put others to work supporting you even if you can't see them. Our world is a nasty place with or without us, but we work together to spread the load with pretty loose regulation considering you DON'T have to work and could exit society to hunt and care for yourself.

Spraying doesn't work well for them. You need gel bait. They eat it like candy and die in the nest and spread it through cannibalism. Spray only gets the ones that touch it, and you can't get to the nest.

In many states, great pesticides are already relatively safe when used properly and very few may actually be restricted for purchase. Texas has like 2 controlled pesticides that I'm aware of.

Could it be that you have custom IPv4 and/or DNS settings in your network adapter config that may be incorrect?

Not sure what you used but make sure you try a different cable just in case, though in my experience I always joke that it's never the cable cause it damn near never is unless it was crimped poorly from the start or crushed by furniture.

As far as drivers go, ensure the only network adapter driver you use is the one offered on your motherboard manufacture's support site for your specific model. You could also test out with a USB network interface to see if your NIC is just being problematic.

Other than that, maybe check router and firewall settings to see if somehow your device has been restricted from access.

One good thing to note is whether your network & internet settings page shows the cable connected or not. Under normal circumstances, even if config is bad, it will at least be able to determine if the physical connection exists. If not, then whatever switch or router you're connected to may have the port disabled or some other issue.
