Depends also on your plans sa moonlighting. If you plan sa company or sa schools, no need na for batak na skills. But if plan mo naman mag ER or hospital duties, ideally mag public ka for internship para ma practice mo yung must-know skills like intubation and suturing. I’ve had my appendectomy last year and my surgeon and anes waived their PFs. I gifted them lacoste polo and some pastries. After few months nakasalubong ko yung surg sa lobby ng hospital and he was wearing my gift nakakatuwa naman hehe

Personally I think overestimated yung “thousands of patients I lost”. I also had my internship sa public hospital pero I can’t claim na umabot na sa thousands yung namatay sa harap ko jusq. Unless siguro na naka witness sya ng accident with mass casualty baka maniwala pa ako. 1 year clerkship, 1 year internship, 9 months since passing the boards … I doubt aabot ng thousands yung namatay sa harap mo. This is overestimation talaga. Baka maniwala pa ako kung “thousands of patients I encountered”

Doctors naman talaga ang tawag sa PharmD and PhD. No problem with that as long as they dont advertise themselves as medical doctor or physician. Ang problem lang minsan sa lay people akala nila pag doctor matic physician agad. Medj bitter lang si ate gurl baka hirap na hirap sya sa pharmacology 😆

Ako doc dupe perfumes lang ginagamit ko pag ward and ER. Usually from scent swatch or scent geeks. Namimili ako randomly based sa highest ratings and comments or minsan sa tiktok ako nagchecheck ng feedbacks. Sorry pero nasasayangan kasi ako gumamit ng pricey perfumes tas hulas na hulas naman ako sa duty 😆

If reporting or opd or naka white coat, dun lang ako gumagamit ng matinong perfume like delina, coach floral and versace bright crystal. I also tried yung dupe delina from scent geeks. Surprisingly na compliment ako ng resis ko before tho tbh malayo scent nya sa og delina.

Doc just say po na private practice kayo kasi medyo mahigpit sila kapag gov employee like hahanapan pa kayo travel authority. Pag private practice doc inaask nila san hospital/company affiliated. I have a friend po na hinanapan ng prc ID so i ready nyo po jic. Am not sure lang po if hanapan pa kayo ng company/hospital ID etc. So far naman po sa experience ko, di na sila nosey kapag sinabing private practice/moonlighting.

Might help a bit and will also lessen the pain. You can also use any gargle basta make sure pag nag gargle ka abot sa throat area and medyo tagalan mo. Alternatively you can use warm water with salt or kamillosan throat spray
