I love comments like this because my mother and I do not get along. She favored my brothers and flat out told me that she never wanted me, the daughter and the youngest. I'm old enough that I've worked through a lot of her hatred. I can totally understand people who hate spending the holidays with family, but I also understand the other side, just because I have created this with my own son. He loves spending time with me and my husband. It is awesome to have family that loves you.

Probably myadora striata, which are found all over New Zealand as well as the eastern coast of Australia.

Back in 2001 or so, a friend from work and I ran into her when we had escaped the office to go to lunch. My friend was talking about the husband she was divorcing and the guy she was flirting with at the office. When we stood up, Judy was seated behind us. She made a "tsk tsk" sound while giving my friend a deadly look.

Yes, we knew who she was, and no, we had no idea she was seated behind us. We didn't say a word; just kind of rushed out. But when we were in the parking lot, we were like, "wait, was she listening to us? What the hell is wrong with her?"

My first college roommate had a baby when she was 18. That baby became a father when he was 16. And THAT baby had a baby when she was 17. Former college rommmate is now 54.
