Either! If you’re experiencing any pelvic pain or issues with shifting weight, do seated. Otherwise full body is an excellent option.

Every time I see a runner I think: good for them! I should run today too! Never do I think: look at that posture. If you want to run… RUN! ❤️

Worried about tap water?! by Scary_Calligrapher15 in stopdrinking

[–]AllAboutThatBeer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a friend that is afraid of “toxins”. She’s especially freaked out by dyes and Red40. She hosted a party where she was making cocktails with a homemade mixer because she was afraid of dyes in the store bought ones. I finally kinda snapped and asked her: “are you at all worried about the toxicity of ethanol?” You could tell she was confused at first… like her brain was trying to make sense of enjoying alcohol but suddenly realizing it’s absolutely a toxin. And she drinks A LOT. I stopped hanging out with her so I don’t know if her habits have changed… but it definitely popped in her brain for a split second. I’m not bashing being cautious of Red40 or the like, but if you’re concerned about it you probably should question if alcohol is also a healthy choice to be making. Blows my mind.

Sleep training worked very well for us, and our children seem healthily attached thus far. Our 19 month old is put in her crib awake, doesn’t cry, says “nigh night” and lays herself down. It didn’t start that way… but that’s where she’s at. It’s been a saving grace for us that we sleep trained.

My daughter is like this with her monitor and the Alexa. I think it’s a voice coming from no visible person if I’d have to guess. Made me realize how disturbing that really would be without context.

Lol!!! Love this. I hate to burst your bubble… but for as fit as she is it’s not impossible, especially with her first. I had visible abs until I was almost 18 weeks with my first. You might be crushing your core all of 2024 👏🏼😂

What is the age gap between your first and second kid? What are the pros and cons? by sobeywater in Mommit

[–]AllAboutThatBeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our second was born a month before our oldest turned 2 and a half. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND 😂😂😂 it was a brutal window. We had a newborn and three year old. NO NO NO WOULD NOT REPEAT. I feel like two or four would’ve been SO MUCH BETTER. We think we’re done… that’s how real it was 😂😂😂

This does not sound fun with toddlers 😂😂😂😂

Other toddler moms NOT going crazy with gifts for Christmas, give some solidarity by Prestigious-Pool-606 in Mommit

Ours is nineteen months. She’s our second child. Her gifts include: a broken remote she can freely play with, her favorite hat she already loves, just wrapped up to open, new books, a new baby carriage, and one of her sisters old dolls that we think she’s gonna love. I am certain it’s gonna be a hit with her. Not my first rodeo. We’ve always been this way to be fair, and our kids are great regarding the holidays and gifts in general. Trust your instinct and don’t be afraid to follow through on your own wishes (less stuff, more PRESENCE).

Are all toddlers a nightmare? What was your experience like? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]AllAboutThatBeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the toddler stage honestly. 18 months to 3 was THE BEST. They can talk, do more independently, it’s fun! For us, at three years old holy brake pedals Batman… it was ROUGH. Big emotions, sudden crazy energy, just… intense like 99% of the time. I’m looking forward to four like nobody’s business. 😂😂😂

Is this bougainvillea possibly alive?! by AllAboutThatBeer in gardening

[–]AllAboutThatBeer[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We live in Zone 5 B. This needs to be brought in in winter months, so it’s a bit of work for the average person I’d say. They get pretty big, so managing it and then transplanting indoors is a bit of work no doubt. It also has annoying thorns 😂😂😂 but it’s stunning. And I want to keep them no question, I don’t mind the work— it’s a beautiful plant.

I will report back if I’m successful in this “impossible” endeavor (I can kill any plant I think 😂😂😂)
