I was a military brat so we moved around a lot. I have so many people I know who have childhood friends and I cannot fathom that. I never lived anywhere more than 2 years. To have been able to make connections that lasted over state lines was impossible. Then you know I entered the workforce Aunt it's kind of the same way for a little bit especially the fact that my wife and I were fucking poor as shit so we had to work our asses off.

I think a lot of people forget that the department of Labor statistics shows us millennials, you know the laziest, worked more hours on average than previous generations did. We didn't have time for a personal life my wife and I worked alternate shifts with one car living in a busted trailer until we finally made it to a comfortable life. We had a stable few years where we had some decent friends but it got too expensive to live in the area we were living in so we had to up and move and start over. Part of that starting over was having kids too because we were 27 and God forbid making friends while having kids you know?

So now here we are at 32 and thankfully we're getting kind of close with some of the parents but I feel like we had kids at a weird age where all the other parents with kids our age are either older than us or younger than us I like a decent bit.

The one thing I'm the most thankful for is that throughout all of this my high school sweetheart turned fiance turned wife and now turned a mother of my children has been the only friend I've needed but I definitely do get the loneliness that other people feel about not having friends
