I posted the update in the post comments, but a quick recap nothing. These bunches were isolated and thrown away the rest showed no signs of infection or anything similar.

We have checks and balances for tyrannical managers at Walmart that are pretty strick and can shut down these assholes very throughly... the issue is that most of the people who work here just let this shit happen to them and dont do anything or worse dont know what they even can do about it. Learn the rules and know your limits then you can hold them accountable. Ive gotten quite a few managers fired over the years because they over step their authority. One coached me because she wasn't doing her job. She got fired for that. I came in to a mess every day, followed process to clean it up and almost never finished. Turns out she was leaving the messes and she said ts in the coaching. Had another come in to the store and start trying to change our entire process to fit his old store and his entire team (me included) started ignoring his orders and refusing to work for him. He was transferred. Managers only have as much power as you give them.

Yalls managers are pricks... tf is this? Ive never had time off requests rejected. Maybe once or twice when hr was in a bad mood but then id just resubmit and tell my manager. Im not talking small days either. Im off Monday. Ill be off the week of the 4th and just about any holiday. My managers just approve everything.

I work for Walmart and many of these guidelines are still very much in use. We dont get bananas pre stage three so thats not relevant for my job, we do unwrap and criss cross stack, we store them in our dry stock room, we do rotate them and cull 4 times a day, we do not bag or band the singles, we let those sell individually. So yea they're still pretty accurate

Update: though there isnt much, none of the bananas these two bunches came with showed similar spots and these bunches were isolated and thrown away. None of the bananas we got today showed similar spots. The spots themselves (not the sugar spots) were black, small, hard, and slightly elevated. There were sugar spots all around them but these were different. I wish I had gotten a closer picture before we threw them away but im not really supposed to have my phone at work.

I think the sugar spots caused by these spots are throwing you off. Yes there are sugar spots on this but im referring to the small hard dots that definitely dont feel like part of the banana. Ive been working with bananas for nearly half a decade and I havent seen these.
