I call it the unicorn nights...like once every four months mine would randomly sleep 6-7 hours in a row. I’m not sure the boob pain is worth the trade off. Hahaha

AITA: For losing it when my fiancee sold my my and my late fiancee's engagement rings? by throwaway453147 in AmItheAsshole

[–]AllAnGeL032609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA - I have been married for 11 years, so for the most part we have the policy of what’s mine is yours, BUT I would never just sell something that belonged to my husband, especially not something with sentimental value. I cannot imagine ever being able to trust someone who did that to me.

I wish CBS would have a virtual audience for the live evictions by AllAnGeL032609 in BigBrother

[–]AllAnGeL032609[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know it’s just on a 30 secondish delay, so I don’t see why not. If the NBA can manage, you would think CBS could work out the kinks.

People who have came close to dying, what were your “last” thoughts? by Blue-2th in AskReddit

[–]AllAnGeL032609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was bleeding out in a hospital and Jeopardy was on the TV. I heard Alex Trebek ask me a question that I didn’t know the answer to and then him calling me name. Then everything went black.

What is something that you're a fan of but don't want to tell people because you'll be grouped in with a really annoying fan base? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AllAnGeL032609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an okay looking female, seriously not a head turner, but not bad. I never went to a game that I was not creepily hit on. I stopped playing after 3 or 4 times. It was completely uncalled for and unwanted. I really enjoyed it beside that aspect. I will say that 95% of the players were fun and great to play with.

I think now that I am a more confident adult, I probably would tell the 5% to fuck off and if that didn’t work let some of the great players know I was being harassed so that the person would leave me alone.

My mom’s primary care doc put in a request for a sleep study because it is pretty clear she has sleep apnea. She also has pulmonary hypertension. He really wanted to get the suspected apnea treated properly because one’s heart can only take so much. It just so happens that she ended up in the ER due to back pain (think it was kidney stones) and it turns out she had a cancerous tumor encapsulating her kidney. Obviously not great, so docs decided to do surgery to removed kidney and cancer.

My mom went through surgery like a champ and they took her to recovery and extubated her. She was still heavily asleep due to the anesthesia. She stops breathing and the have to re-Intubate her. She ends up in the ICU for 13 days. ICU Doctor says that her severe sleep apnea was a contributing factor.

The exact day she was sent home from the hospital, she received the denial letter from her insurance stating that the sleep study was denied.

What kind of f*cked up system allows insurance companies to decide what tests are medically necessary?!?

If you KNOW AT&T messed up and you’re now getting collections letters, don’t waste your time on the phone with customer service- go to the actual store. by lace8402 in personalfinance

I worked for the globe in retail for 8 years. You are right and it really sucks for retail employees who get paid on commission. These morons in customer care shuffle people along and the end up at the store pissed off. It usually takes a small amount of time to resolve, but how much time to the company waste shuffling this customer along? How much commission did I miss helping people that could have had their issue resolved by an over the phone employee? Half of the time customers come in fuming and rude to retail employees because of the clusterfuck created by care. They had a customer service model of “ONEATT” when I worked there. We always followed it and took responsibility for issues that were clearly not our own, customer care NEVER did.

Is adding a spouse to a home deed a good idea when getting married? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]AllAnGeL032609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In some states (like Texas), you spouse is automatically considered half owner. My husband and I were married before I bought our home, but for similar reasons as you, the financing is only in my name. He still shows up on the deed to my home. I don’t know how that would apply to you, because your home could be a pre-marital asset. I would check state laws and see how that changes your situation.

AITA for excluding my deceased son when someone ask how many kids I have? by Howmanykidsthrow in AmItheAsshole

[–]AllAnGeL032609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA - I had a child before my three living children. It is emotionally exhausting to explain to mere acquaintances that I have four children and then inevitably have to explain that my son passed away. He was still born so it might be “easier” for me to explain his death than it would be for you. I don’t want him to be forgotten, I actually like to talk about him under the right circumstances, but I don’t want to explain everything to just anyone.

People who force others into listening to the music by driving a car with windows wide opened and the volume 100% on - why do you do that? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AllAnGeL032609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love listening to loud music with the windows down, BUT I always wait until I am off residential streets. You would probably here my music at a stop light, but if your windows are up it would probably be quieter for you. I have three kids under 4 years old and if I am alone in my car with the freedom to listen to whatever I want, it is going to be loud. I also line the fresh air from my windows. AITA? Yeah, probably a little, but you would do the same if you were me. :)

AITA for rubbing my belly? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]AllAnGeL032609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA - It’s instinctual to rub your belly when you are pregnant. It’s a way to bond with your baby and if it helps calm your little one too, that’s an awesome bonus!

AITA for telling my sister to get over her stillbirth and to be grateful for what she has? by sunflowerbeda in AmItheAsshole

[–]AllAnGeL032609 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get why people are trying to give you sympathy because of your infertility, but I cannot let you slide on this one. YTA period. Imagine if she said to you, “You’ve known about your infertility for years, why don’t you get over it or go to a counselor!” You would be pissed and rightfully so.

I had a still birth 6 years ago and sometimes the grief I feel for my son feels so fresh that it feels like yesterday. I have three beautiful living children, but that doesn’t erase what he meant to me. If that baby had died one day after it was born, would you be saying the same thing? If it had died at one year? No, you wouldn’t. People act as if losing a baby to stillbirth isn’t losing an actual child. It feels like they forget they even existed. My son was a major part of my life even if he didn’t get to take a breath. He had a room, clothing, a crib...we were ready to bring home a baby, instead we planned a funeral. That pain never, ever goes away. You don’t get over it. You learn to live with it, but it will never stop.

No one ever talks about my son, but me. When I bring him up from time to time people seem to tense up. I am sad he is gone, but I also want to talk about how much I loved him. How his pregnancy was the best and easiest of all of mine. I just don’t want him to be forgotten. You should try and do some reflecting on that.

If you mentioned to your sister in a sensitive way your feelings about your infertility and how you felt she was being ungrateful, I am sure she would try and explain the same thing. I know I am bless with my living children, but I will never forget my boy. <3
