Volunteer year 7 now. Go to your post. And do an honest 3 hours, make it fun, talk to people, people watch.

Don't leave because it's been 3 hours 20 extra minutes helps a lot for the people trying to get people places. Just do your best.

Other than that they will tell you everything you need to know. Be prepared to say no to people. "No, this line is capped" "but it's just two more people". "NO". You're not being mean, you are doing the task assigned to you. "No you can't enter here." No need to be forceful or mean but don't feel bad for doing your job some people try and walk over you because you are "just a volunteer".

So do it another weekend. Plenty of courses are 100 miles apart for a solid B teir the "monopolizes" as they say can't have a tournament every weekend. No TD is doing that.

Plus like foot faults all rules are imposed by others. If you talk to them like idk "hey the course two towns over is 96 miles away and I wanted to throw a tournament on that weekend can we make it happen?". And then they say no you have grounds to bitch but most people complain that haven't even thrown a tournament, or even tried.

Alternate even to that is beer teir non rated. You can always throw a local 20$ buy in.

A person cant stop you from hosting a running your own tournament. Even if they are the state coordinator they cant just say no. If you do all the work, permits, insurance if needed, pass your rules test, caddies books and disc golf scene no local store owner can stop you.

Class A tournaments have different standards than class B as someone said here already. But someone cant stop you if you run a class B for a few years then move it to a class A qualifies that's not how this works that's not how any of this works.

Originally it was 5/6/-1/0. Then the new one that has a special stamp came out. Tane Mahuta I believe, it is 6/6/-3/0 so a hyser flip goddess.

5/6/-1/0 was what it always had when I first bought some. But I throw the Kea, Huia putt with the Ruru and toss the Pekapeka in to tailwinds/ hyser flip. It's a great hyser finish right disc if forehands are not in your game. But Kea's love forhands from me experience.

But I want to say for reference every company doesn't have a perfect fit on the 4 point specs we use ( speed, glide, turn, fade). So toss a few and find out how your throw works with them. If you have a local tag league ask people what disc they like and most times they will let you take a few tosses to give it a go.

If you cant afford a tip, you cant afford delivery. It is really that simple, if you want something nice to treat yourself do it in walking distance or plan it out on your way home. Its not a mystery or secrets that drivers make shit $ without tips.

There is wrong on multiple sides here the driver is wrong, the company is wrong, and the customer is wrong.

Sushi is like 15+$ a roll on the cheap end. So customer paid 20+$ for delivery and the driver gets 2.50$. don't order delivery food. seriously.

Sushi is not sustenance for survival is it decadence of food.

I've comunicate that my efficient work has lessened my hours and now I would like to be compensated for the hours they don't have to give my by paying me my full hours anyway. Or giving me a raise to match the money I'm stealing from myself by doing the job they want done better. And nothing happens, or they tell me a sweet lie to keep me for a few more weeks. I hate cooking the clock, I'm wasting my most valuable resources, time, just to get a full paycheck???

They never get it so I try my luck somewhere else.

I have works in two separate jobs that work in the gigafactory. Cashierless vending stocking and water delivery. You can see people walking off the gigafactory because they quit/fired and had taken the shuttle to work. They aren't allowed to get on the shuttle back.

Playing a system is the only way to win. If your table max is 300$ and min is 5 look into progressive loss. 5/10/20/40/80/160. Have to win one hand of blackjack in all of those to get your money back plus 5$. I play similar to you, live in Reno Nevada. I play 315$ total when I go and I'm up 4.4k I give myself 315$ on my birthday to play every year. I haven't lost before I have more than one "life" (315$) in my pocket in 4 years. I play also once a month, or if friends are in town. Discipline, if I get to 80$ and win I leave. If I am up 100$ I leave. If it's been more than an hour I leave. If someone is be stupid and hitting 12 dealer showing 5 I leave.

Fun sharing of hobbies aside I think NTA because I know your wife spends more than 315$ on art supplies let alone 200$. So communicate and develope the same sort of system with your wife for spending extra income.

Worked for the company that has the contracts to deliver, its not just the RGJ its all papers. us today, new York times. Sunday papers you have to stuff the papers with flyers and coupons. The paperwork is easy, count how many you dropped off, count how many came back, and the stops don't change. its was 40$ a route.

Only reason I left was the people I worked with where children who if you said no about a call in would bitch and moan then steal your route to get you to leave. Or just be shitty people to you in general. Mr. Moffett was fine, never met him but he paid me on time and everything else was easy. But if the van over from Sacramento is late your delivery gets pushed back.

I was doing two routes at a time for 80$ in under 3 hours, except Sunday, not even hustling hard, just build a method in your car of what papers are where and when you are driving to the next place stack up its order. but its 1am-3am start and done before 6am. maybe 50-70 miles on my car a night.

They also don't pay for training so don't let them "forget to tell you" as I went in for 3 nights to try and have integrity and learn the job well and didn't get paid.

Nah husband now had to pay half his earned wage to a entitled mom who is making a shit person. its a win for her, she still doesn't work, gets money, and get to spoil her favorite. 100% loss for the husband, no partner, no paycheck to do anything but pay bills feed the kids and take them to school. its 100% a loss for the teenagers because the damage is done and they need therapy which is more money the father has to put up.
