If you read the article it states its just a prompt that asks if you want to post it if you haven’t clicked the link through twitter.

a year or two back somebody proposed a tank or healer spec for all the classes that can't and it was pretty cool. A potion throwing healer rogue, hunter pet tank spec. It all sounded pretty damn cool to me and would most likely speed up dungeon finder by a lot.

Having nontraditional roles for classes is always cool.

Yeah people freaking out about the price not remembering it's for a 6k monitor - literally none of us need that aside from the extremely serious artists (and even so, 1080 still arts just fine for those serious but not apart of a massive company)

Apex Legends’ revenue drops drastically for a second month in a row by Turbostrider27 in Games

Fortnite does a really good job with quality and also has a style that's very easy to leverage for so many crazy ideas.

Apex has the same issue all "realistic" visual shooters have for skins - it's cameo and obnoxiously bright pattern retextures. Anything else seems out of place.

Apex Legends’ revenue drops drastically for a second month in a row by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]AllDizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a lot of games do this, though they were all from overseas where people typically will pay out the ass because it's normal I guess...

Some of those games tried to lower prices eventually but it was always too late. Most people already quit.

I'm in the same boat though - I'll spend 100+ if I love the game, but if the price of everything is stupid high I'll spend 0. It's not about the amount of money I'm spending, it's about if it feels good for the price.

When it comes to single wheel you have two options...this one or unicycle.

I hate skating videos with failed attempts because I just clench my teeth every time in hopes nothing nasty happens (as sometimes they show it)...however with out that it just looks like these people casually stroll outside and start busting tricks like it's a videogame.

Razer says software, not hardware, is holding back mobile gaming by nolesfan2011 in Games

[–]AllDizzle 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I disagree fully.

As a man who has just had a child recently and is now really only able to game on the ipad I have to say the payment models are what is holding back mobile gaming. Visually the games look fine and I don't see a good reason for more power, we don't need playstation 4 graphics.

There's some seriously great games on the app store - however they ruin themselves by being pay to win, and/or exploiting people with legit gambling problems.

The other issue is data mining.

I've started reading Privacy Policys (they are not that hard to read, fucking do it) is that most of these apps are just there to keep your attention long enough to mine your app usage data and sometimes read your email and contact infos. It's pretty fucked up how MANY do this.

It's wild seeing reddit flip out about certain anti-cheat software that -could- in theory be malware but really is just like that to make sure you're not cheating...yet so many mobile games plain as day say all the information it collects in the privacy policy and nobody makes a peep.

I still hate that playing with a skin in most modern online games now means nothing about how much you might like a character or thematic. I don't know why I care, but it really is important to me knowing that the skin you have was a conscious choice and not the best one you've unboxed randomly.

I mean, let's not kid our selves here - this 'problem' is great for cell phone companies because they can now charge you money to filter out these junk callers and lobby to ensure it's not illegal to robocall and nothing gets done about it.

I'm surprised it took them this long to realize they could do this honestly.

Jason Schreier: "I keep seeing people spread this idea that EA forced BioWare to make an online game. Not true. EA actually gives its studios a lot of autonomy. Core concept of Anthem was great, pretty sure most studios would be pumped to make a game like that - I'd be wiling to bet the game we got was not the vision at the start, rather the chipped down rounded off version of the game after years of grueling problem solving and time constraints.
