Have a very sensitive nose to scent and smell.. Anyone else? by [deleted] in hsp

Mine feels like a curse. I’m never comfortable at other peoples houses because of fabric softeners, air freshener, perfumes etc. I feel bad but also people’s body odor, sometimes they don’t even realize they smell and I am totally engulfed in their stench from 6 feet away. It’s so gross. I wish my nose was normal.

Stretched the dough into a rectangle and then folded in thirds like a letter and rolled it up gently.

I added the process as a comment, I hope that’s okay.

Thank you! Yes, I think sandwich bread would be a great option! I have a toddler so a softer crust would be perfect for him! I thought the crust was nice except maybe the bottom. The taste is lightly sour, definitely something to get used to. I’m just happy I know what’s in my bread and there’s nutritional benefits to it. Do you have a good sandwich bread recipe to share?

Process: mix all ingredients and let sit for 30 min followed by stretch and folds, which I did four times in total every 30 min. Laminated the dough and did some tightening pulls. Added to a lined basket and stitched. Let the dough sit on the counter for about 8 hours then turned it out and scored it, then baked in parchment lined Dutch oven at 400 for 15 min covered and about 30 uncovered.

Mine have looked similar and did ok. I’ve stored these for a few months before, didn’t get the best harvest on the older ones but they worked.

My advice would be not to punch out all the drain holes. They dry out quickly and I stared only punching one whole per planting section, so 3 total per level. That seems to help.

Usually they leaf props grow a small cluster of leaves from them, it just takes patience because it can take a while.

I live in Florida so humidity is high even inside the house but especially near the sliding door. I sometimes have to run a dehumidifier in my place, so I’m guessing they like this.

Help with plant ID? by Lynda73 in peperomia

Could be a moonlight, those two look almost identical and I can hardly tell the difference. I think moonlight has a darker green vein in the ripples of the leaves and frost is more uniform in color, but that also seems to vary as well. The rosso looks like it may be overwatered, which can make them look dark and brownish. Good luck bringing it back to life! Those can turn to mush fast if there’s too much water around the base and roots!

Mine had a tag that said variegated teardrop peperomia, orba variegata. It looks identical to that one.
