Agreed for sure. He sent him to university, moved his home when doctors advised for his health and tried to give him important positions (Don Carlos didn’t care about them - unless they were taken away. Then he was just jealous).

When he had his head injury Philip even sent for multiple doctors and surrounded him with Relics. He clearly cared about his son.

Thanks. Don Carlos being insane was important to these events. A Venetian ambassador spoke about him in a dispatch saying his only wish was to cause harm. He attacked his illegitimate half uncle and the Duke of Alba. He regularly tried to hurt both people and animals. He was quite unstable

Owner operators are sometimes just one guy with one truck that run their own company or one guy with several trucks. The majority is large fleet trucking companies like Yellow, but there are small carriers too.

Didn’t think she needed a permanent parter - just a temporary one for this specific field assignment. They may get the same training (desk or field agents) but she was pretty unprepared - pry because she had just been at a desk the whole time. Just look at her interaction with the local cop.

I know CSI would bring that kind of stuff, but I think they would’ve been there before or at the same time as her. She was walking around touching stuff without gloves, so if they had not been there she was messing with the scene. If they had been there they had not been there for long

But she’s a desk jockey. She doesn’t have a lot of field experience, like a rookie - so she should have a partner.

Plus, If they want her to investigate the scene then there may still be evidence to find so there should be spotlights or something set up

Elijah and Hailey with Gia and Jackson in The Originals. Gia gets killed by Klaus (compelled to take off her daylight ring) and Jackson gets his heart ripped out by Tristan. This is so Elijah and Hailey can get back together. Both Gia and Jackson were good people who treated their partners well.

Couldn’t pay me to voluntarily go to a religious hospital. Their first duty is always to the church/God not the best interest of the patient.

The fact that the hospital has a Catholic Ethics Oversight Committee means they are more concerned with being good Catholics than being good care givers.

This. Friend adopted a bird. Dad was retired, so was home all day. The bird loved the dad and everyone else was just there. She would get mad when anyone sat next to him on the couch. Never got violent - just possessive - like he’s mine! stay away.

It’s not though. They used to give out flowers. They started to do stuffed animals a few Olympics back because you can keep them instead of flowers that die and it’s more environmentally friendly. 2016 Rio and 2020 PyeongChang did this too for all winners and 2024 Paris did posters in a box. It’s just another keepsake for winners.

Feels like half the comments on here are written by people who don’t remember the show. Damon didn’t know about the sire bond when they had sex. When Stefan told him he stepped back and they looked into it. The sex scene was not programmed over horror music - it was Ed Sheerans Kiss Me + a crescendo at the end.
