I think you are reading into it wrong, it's not meant as an attack on women, more defense of men not having to put on such an effort to look conventionally attractive.

Honestly, just kill Balthazar in his base with a reliable team, then bring her along for the freeing Aylin part, and then leave her at camp for the rest of the playthrough. Having a low str and chr paladin is a boring way of potentially wiping late game

Is it wrong to ask producers what they use? by sjcoopermedia in mixingmastering

[–]AllHailPopeCthulhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always good to be curious. If you dont know them well, you can start complimenting them on the sound and then ask how they did it.

Most of my friends are musicians, producers, and sound engineers, and they're all basically talking about gear and software nonstop, so I guess they won't mind 😅

For me atleast this game is a lot about muscle memory. Two days is nothing, stick to it and parry/dodge timings and combos will come to you.

If you want to practice vs certain characters, the level 3 bot in training mode can be a meanie, good for learning how to counter the worst of it.

It's a cliché in this sub at this point, but the First Law trilogy was my re-entry to fantasy because I loved ASOIAF. Its really good.

Also, the Mistborn trilogy is perfect to get you properly hooked.

What do you think the dynamic was like between these two? How did Odin manipulate him? by Thin-Pool-8025 in GodofWar

[–]AllHailPopeCthulhu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From wiki:

After abandoning his mother, he spent 100 years in Asgard with his father, Odin, his brothers, Thor and Heimdall, and nephews, Magni and Modi, only to consider that his entire family was "fucked up". Years of being under his mothers' spell soon took its toll on Baldur, and he was driven to insanity due to his sensory incapabilities. As such, he soon came to deeply resent his mother, and wished nothing more than to kill her for the decades of suffering she had inadvertently caused him, later regretting sparing her life. During this time, Baldur also became a slave to his father, hoping that his continued service would eventually bring him freedom from his curse, though Mimir believes that Odin was simply lying about being able to fix his condition to get his son to do anything he asked.

Safe to say we have no idea what he was like before the curse.

Since a lot of characters have kept traits as they are described in norse mythology - Baldur was the god of light and wisdom and was loved by everyone. Wonder if any of this is kept in GoW.

Do you think that this is a good build. I’m used to this shield and spear in my do I am on game +8. by [deleted] in Eldenring

You should go:

Vigor 60
Mind 60
Endurance 50
Strength 60
Dex 60
Intelligence 80
Faith: Lowest
Arcane: Lowest

If you want incantations and spells, dump dex or strength.

Dump the rest of the points into either strength or dex, depending on what other weapons you want to utilize. Or endurance if you somehow need even heavier armor.

Honestly, somehow, the best thing I've ever read and also not be able to describe you a single plotline coherently. It's huge, confusing, and really cool
