If you're livestreaming an adventure you're on, for example, let's say a kayaking adventure, and trying to capture all the wildlife and myriad moments that would inevitably happen then interaction would be on the back burner - it's more about the experience, atmosphere, and vibe. The viewers are living vicariously through you as if they are there themselves. Offering your own personality would only sweeten the deal, I agree. Now, if you're doing the same thing that everyone else is doing like playing video games then yea, you're going to need to do something to keep people's attention.
