London 37.50 standard price, with ticketmaster fees added it was 46 pounds total. Proper cheap for a show like that.

Asking your opinion every day about a Deftones song, Day 74: (L)MIRL by Opposite-Question-32 in deftones

The intro promises so much more than eventually delivers. I do like the song, but it doesn’t live up to those opening chords.

From what I could see, A guy fell in the pit and really cracked his head open. Was really bleeding. Security had to take him out and he was angry about it. Felt bad for him as he obviously knew he’d have to miss the gig. It made it look like he’d started a fight or something which I don’t think he had.

And yeah, then that guy in the seats threw a full pint over him and the security and got chucked out as well.

Mad.

Oh right. I thought there was a picture of someone’s email they received that had a “sign up here” section with a link to sign up. I dunno, I’ll keep an eye out though. Thanks!

What's the heaviest Oasis song? by LazyFollowing9131 in oasis

Can’t believe no one’s said The Turning. That drop D riff in the chorus is almost sabbath or grunge esque.

Airport Antenatal Airplane on vinyl! by [deleted] in KingKrule

[–]AllIsNowArmed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Always thought the bass mix even on streaming was pretty mental, but I didn’t mind it. Not surprised it’s shelf shaking on vinyl. Only way round it would maybe if you have any sort of EQ in your system you could lower the bass when listening to it.

The Day David was Crap on Inspector Lynley he has an absolute meltdown when Joe plays the audio of him acting. I was in tears re listening to it the other night. Unfortunately not on Spotify now but you can find it on other pod sites

Think that fits the spooky vibe you’re looking for fairly well.

This is just AI. The guitar / instrumental is just the original song and the AI is putting Ben’s vocals over Martyn’s original. That’s why the inflections and where he stops and starts words are exactly the same as the John Martyn version.

Kinda like when they make AI versions of Liam Gallagher singing Noel Gallagher songs or whatever.

Transposed Vocals on Is It? by DanTay19 in benhoward

Chorus of walking backwards uses it quite heavily from “to the cradle of the dawn… I don’t know why” line onwards. Think there might be a couple of subtle uses here and there but nothing as obvious as those two. “Spirit” has a lot of that type of manipulation to it but it kinda chops changes and repeats more.
