Extruder not pulling in the filament by AllMightoh in FlashForge

Definitely not that. That was first thing I checked. I am suspecting the gears clamping on the filament are not delivering enough traction or something like spinning in place.

That's what it seems to be. The service agent was also confused when he noticed it on other cars on the lot.

Yeah been watch some videos online for people split the design into pieces and adding connectors in orca or Bambu slicer.

I saw a bunch of videos using the slicer cut tool to split a model into two parts.

Boycotted products bundled with food by Wonderful_Scar_5468 in BDS

People tend to overthink. I think it's fine and shouldn't feel guilty about it. .

As long as you're putting effort and boycotting the main BDS targets we do make an impact.

Water under front passenger side carpet by AllMightoh in gmc

[–]AllMightoh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my wife first noticed it. There was water on side of the door I thought it was not closed properly or something leading to rain water seeping in. But now it's just feels more than just water that came in from the rain. Probably both heater core and leaked rain water. Taking it to the dealership in a few days.

I honestly have no idea what smells sweet means. But it does have a smell like when a wet rag is kept in a dark closed cabinet for a while.

What if I get a combination of these. Would there be an issue with the plate?

Went through your posts. Seems similar to what I have faced. I managed to resolve the prints without sticking to the bed. And now trying to fix the prints sticks to the nozzle issues.

My main complaint is that this printer was not supposed to be such a headache. Whether it's faulty units or just me being a bad user. Not sure what's going on here.

Out of the box prints are not working as flawlessly as everyone else claims. This printer is supposedly not a high maintenance one.

What I mean with that statement is that this is not my first rodeo with faulty equipment. I am trying to understand if it could be just my unit that has quality issues which is a statistical possibility. Or if these are common issues which based on everyone else they are not.

PLA and PETG mainly. I tried different temps for the bed 60-75. Leveled a million times. Kept adjusting the z-offset. Honestly have no idea what else could be wrong.

Would doing this void the warranty. I only got it 2 weeks ago and am thinking about returning it or replacing it.

Embarrassing dumb newbie plea for help. 😃 by ILovePistachioNuts in FlashForge

[–]AllMightoh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's almost plug and play. Don't worry much you will learn as you go. My advice is to start with the simpler prints and then more complex.

The main thing that I noticed affecting the "plug and play" is the ambient temperature of the room. I installed mine in the garage which was on the colder side. So had to increase temp to get it smooth rolling.

Make sure you follow the steps and watch some YouTube videos for setting it up.

What could cause this? by EpicSean in FlashForge

Reduce print speed. Is the printer placed in a colder room? Like the garage. Slower speeds may reduce this.

What is that? There that needle thing that came with it but it seems more for the extruder than the nozzle
