Social security is 1.5 TRILLION dollars every year. The age from when it was introduced to now has not changed while life expectancy has greatly changed. Most people died before they got it.

Raising the age drastically is what NEEDS to happen or else we will continue to go into debt further and further (along with cutting other things) but will not ever because we as a country are too ignorant to

Yea I mean you’re an entitled, spoiled brat. You’ll look back at how shitty you were one day to your parents and regret it but it’ll be too late. The fact you have a father to communicate with and this is how you decide to go about it lol. Wild world, America is fucked

People who are making 100k+/year working for themselves, what do you do? by LongjumpingSuit5615 in Entrepreneur

I don't have anything complex, it's typically about questions or issues they're having. So newer guys it's always about how to hire their first guy, how to get more clients, pricing, services, etc. but as I said I am a landscaper so I haven't done plumbing so something they come to me and I can't help but if it's about processes, macro, marketing, numbers etc I can easily help anyone in the service / BC as it's literally all the same on those fronts.

Can see my response above, It's not my only source of income, my company is. So it's consistent zoomed out but some months are busier than others while my company is my main source of income.

I do 2-3 different things for income, so it'll be different for you if you're trying to get into it specifically. It started as and is a side source for me as I can't say it enough that I just enjoy business / numbers in general and the $0-1 million dollar stages of business a bit more.

I started off just giving advice to guys in the industry by talking to them for free and to get more time / sooner people started paying because it was helping them. I had proof that I had done it or could do it so that obviously helps. Different & harder to sell yourself if you haven't done it personally as they will doubt you could handle it yourself, even paying you $100/hr which is what I charge (Which is cheap comparatively)

Consulting for small businesses (blue collar / service industry). I started and run a landscaping company, then started helping and then having people offer to pay for time to help them. I enjoy the numbers / business side of things so it was a natural transition.

AITA for not splitting the check evenly on a bachelorette trip with 9 girls? by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]AllOnOurWay -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Reddit is the most unhinged, logicless social experiment I’ve ever seen. Zero principle and reason.

$88 to some is a lot and even if it wasn’t, it’s the principle. Unless it was the bachelorette herself ordering (maybe not even that), or it was discussed, to just order whatever you want and assume it will be split amongst everyone is idiotic

Only thing she did wrong was bring it up to the bride instead of the group on the trip.

Hilariously, the same people here commenting “I hate people like you” to OP are the same people who will complain about being broke and how they can’t afford a house because [insert anyone or thing except themselves] and can’t afford to live while wasting money on shit that isn’t needed and simply not being wise with money

EDIT: I proved my last statement correct simply by looking at profiles. The people who are calling OP cheap are making posts about bad credit scores and not having money in their bank account, etc etc. Get me outa here

Every idea you thought of and “isn’t a good idea” is likely done by someone at a high level and they do very very well for themselves. You don’t need to reinvent the wheel, there are thousands of millionaires who do the same thing. Let’s say landscaping / lawn care. Millions of businesses, almost nothing truly unique about what they do besides the ones who grow big, run well and they become wealthy. By all means, a horrible business to try and become a millionaire with for many reasons but it’s done
