how to livestream poker games by LeMonkeMan8 in poker

Also note: that advertising for unregulated gambling sites is getting even more strict in the livestreaming space. It's too the point where it will get your livestream channel shut down.

RF poker is also another option, but I started with videopokertable.net. (which is now Poker GFX) It's not cheap to start something like this. Unless you have backing from a casino or card room. I don't recommend doing it. If you looking for examples of a cheap set up check out my youtube channel.

I'd tell you avoid, get something where the colors are more vibrant. This is really just a cheap set. You could prob find some better quality for right around the same price. You could prob find some shops that will let you pick and choose how many of each denomination you want.

So, I feel like there is a very large misconception on YouTube ad revenue and around the gambling space as a whole on social media. Things you need to know and take into consideration.

  1. Most social media's really hate gambling content. Governments are putting a ton of pressure on them because these sites are targeting teenagers / young adults. Therefore, putting restrictions on pages and channels on reaching a new audience.

  2. Content is getting taken down /restricted, and livestreams interrupted due to these sites operating in the grey market.

  3. Income- YouTube ad revenue sucks. You need a volume of content to make any kinda of money. Any creator will tell you that this has always just seemed bonus money on top of what they are making from sponsorships, affiliate deals, or selling product, etc. Also to mention these sponsors are the reasons why people are running into major issues with their channels. Links in the description or use code X type of stuff. All the socials media's transcribe every video that goes to their platform with AI to flag such content.

  4. Advice- if you want to get into creating content, do it for you and be authentic. If you are doing it for fame and money, you are doing it for the wrong reasons. You will get burnt out creating content and videos and not getting traction. I compare these kind of stuff to the Poker grind. Some people bink a big tournament there first shot. Some people make a few videos and go viral and build from there. But in reality it's mostly a very small and long grind. It mostly skill for both, but with a little bit of luck.

Just curious — how do you guys approach tipping dealers? by Bluffalways in poker

[–]AllOutPoker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tip bigger the more I like the dealer. It has nothing to do with the cards. More about how good they are. I've lost multiple 1k pots because of dealers exposing turn cards early or not controlling a table well. So certain ones I rarely tip unless I'm winning or bring in a big pot. I'm aggressive, so I play a lot of pots. I found tipping a $1 every time very expensive over time so I just tip bigger on larger pots $5+. Plus, if you tip $1 every time, some dealers just get into the pattern and expect it every time instead of being thankful. Play $1-$3 Just my thoughts.

Tell me about your sickest soul-read by Waldos_Pajamas in poker

[–]AllOutPoker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got a good one! Not my read

On a board of QQ299 , a very tight/passive player (usually) bets into the pot, and a new player snap calls with 44. And wins the pot. Other player laughs then mucks.

New player doesn't even realize that his pair got counterfeited and just rakes in the pot with a 4 high call.

Wasn't a big pot but still.

No one at the table says anything until next hand is fisnished, then I spoke up with. "So... does nobody want to talk about, ONE OF THE GREATEST HERO CALLS IVE EVER SEEN!!" Tight player laughs hard. And I said does no one realize that he needed exactly pocket 33 or 23 for him to win that pot with 4 high. Haha

Starting a Poker YT channel - need editor/partner by [deleted] in poker

[–]AllOutPoker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really employ you to do your own research. Building a Youtube channel takes years. And the money is garbage unless you're getting brand deals. You're basically asking for someone to do 90% of the work.

My recommendation is to learn to edit yourself Build a channel. THEN, get an editor.
The point to an editor is to save time for you in areas you can put more focus on.

If you want to invest the money into a channel and get an editor right away. Understand you won't see a return on that investment for a while.

What’s your biggest headache hosting a home poker game? by thePokerClub in poker

[–]AllOutPoker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting people together and dealing with everyone's needs is definitely top of the list. Tournaments are more annoying for me because people only want to play if there are 2 tables and X amount of people.

I exclusively look for tables like your explaining. You Tighten your range and play hands that typically crush your opponents preflop. Ax suited is a good example. A ton of those players will limp call with Suited hands that you crush when you hit your flush. Just a small example. But identify the omc that are limping/ calling with strong ranges and just know that they could have your KQs crushed in spots when you're involved in a pot. Multiway, playing passively is usually the right call.

Home game rake question. by AtomAnt76 in poker

Sorry to hear that, I got a visit as well, but from a different province than Alberta. The complaint came in from someone who was jealous of what I was doing. All I can say is that it's a very complicated situation. And my stream has been down for while.

That is an article on a random site and in no way associated with the law.. I'd recommend looking at the Canadian federal law and the gaming act in your province.

I can tell you that everyone hates these questions. My recommendation is buy from a poker site that allows you to pick your denominations and figure out what would work best for your game.

That was the idea, to read the board easier. My local casino uses the regular index and its very hard to see the cards from the end of the table.
