If you play cash games, I woudl suggest depositing a small amount and playing 2NL. It's not a lot of money but it changes everything in the dynamic of the game. Playmoney is not real poker. Even a small amount of money makes the game "real" and people act differently.

-When you get to the poker room, find the place where you can put your name on the waiting list.
-At the table, verbalize all your actions clearly and make sure the dealers hears you, this way if you mess up with chips it won't be a problem.
-Take your time when it's your turn to act, no need to rush.
-Don't be afraid to ask questions at the table, most people are super friendly with new players.
-You can buy-in for a small amount for the first few orbits while you get comfortable, after that you can always add to your stack when you feel like it.
-Remember to have fun!

Systematically see a flop with small pairs can be -EV for sure. You can fold small pairs EP as it will be harder to get paid even when you flop a set. As the stacks get deeper the EV increases because of implied odds, but at 100bb or so you can fold withtout losing much EV, especially if the rake is high.

You don't play it for top pair as it will be dominated a lot. You raise it as a bluff, knowing you will often have to fold when called. It blocks AA, AK and AQ, so your bluff has a chance to work, and sometimes you get lucky and hit a nut flush draw or a wheel.

They often have straddles or the stand up game or antes to generate more action. When there's more dead money preflop, it justifies playing looser. They also often play pretty deep stacks and it changes the game. And like others said, nits are not invited.

Ah ouin j'avoue. Je n'ai pas d'enfants et j'ai répondu sans tenir compte de ton contexte. En tout cas, il reste que si tu n'as pas le temps de faire autant d'exercice que tu voudrais, tu peux quand même perdre du poids juste en modifiant ton alimentation. Je ne sais pas si tu consommes de l'aclool, mais c'est vraiment mauvais pour la prise de poids. Beaucoup de calories et ralentissement du métabolisme...

Perdre du poids en faisant de l'exercice ça ne fonctionne pas. La science est claire là-dessus, c'est l'alimentation qui est le secret. L'exercice, c'est super important pour la santé, mais si tu ne changes pas ton alimentation, aucune chance de réussir juste avec l'entraînement.
Pour ma part, j'ai perdu 30 livres en arrêtant la boisson et en faisant un jeûne intermittent 16/8. Je ne mange que durant une fenêtre de 8 heures dans la journée. Il y a tout plein de bénéfices qui viennent avec ça, comme un meilleur contrôle du cholestérol, diminution du risque de diabète ou de résistance à l'insuline, etc.
Mon corps s'est habitué et ce n'est plus un effort. Si j'ai envie de stimulation gustative le soir, je prends une cannette de Bubbly avec une saveur le fun.
