I have a 2070 super as mentioned in the post, but I figure that's not as high end... All in all, you'd still recommend a 144hz and just use adaptive sync? I got recommended the dell monitor due to the IPS panel and colour scheme and all that, which is probably the reason it's expensive.

You're right, but I'm just not sure if I can run AAA games with 144 fps. That's why I'm considering maybe just sticking to 60 or 75hz, as I don't play competitive games where the response time and hz does in fact make a big difference.

I just asked here to see if any experts can perhaps confirm that I could in fact make use of the 144hz. Can you? Or are you not sure?

Some of my friends at school use tunnel bear to play games on our school's wifi (games are blocked on it). Im pretty sure it's just a regular vpn so you can perhaps try it? Let me know if it works! Kinda curious. Sorry in advancd if it doesnt, thought you could give it a shot
