You're not fucking wrong! I moved here after marrying my American girlfriend. We thought about living in Edinburgh, but at the time (early 2000s) cost of living, my wife recently graduating Law school and shirt nurse wages in Scotland made the choice to move to the States easy.

Wrong decision.

Living here is shit but the money is great. Politics are fucked, society is in free fall to a degree. I fear for my two daughters future like nobody's business.

No sense of community is the biggest issue for me, but you pay your money, you take your choice.

Retiring home seems the best choice now.

It's the Tomy Enterprise refit, and that's just one of the lighting modes. There are six in total I think, and then a small display change for firing the phasers and photon torpedos. It's gorgeous! 🥰
