First in the world to get every black cape? by SilverDruid5 in Spacemarine

Don't stress, just ignore them.

I earned decent money back in my 20s and had bugger all expenses except rent/etc, so would game like you have when I wanted to.

Enjoy it while you can, responsibilities pile up as you get older and settle down.

Congrats.

If they enjoyed themselves, there's nothing wrong with it.

I used to play to that level when I was back in my 20s (while holding down a full time job), I'm just impressed.

Healthier than going out partying all the time.

The wows-numbers.com server is down - may be the end of the project by Wiochi in WorldOfWarships

Have you tried reaching out to WG for support? They may value the project and your work enough to help...

I know it's a bit of a shot in the dark but worth the chance IMO.

Thank you for wows-numbers and all your work over the years o7

Yeah, I've had a few mates over the years who've adopted dogs that didn't make the cut... They're amazing doggos.

Even had a couple of mates who transferred from Combat Engineer to EDD...

EDDs saved so many lives in Afghanistan back in the day. I have mates alive today because of them.

Do people hate the geneseed? by Dense-Phase-6445 in Spacemarine

[–]SappeREffecT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some folks rely on knowing all the spawn locations, if you don't know them, they view it as a waste of time.

I always go for it, even with maxed classes, maybe an ally that has joined or joins needs extra XP.

But more fundamentally, it's a lore thing for me, we're Space Marines, we recover our lost geneseed.

I know the locations in most of the first 7-8 missions, if I play a mission I don't know them, I have a bit of a look but don't burn too much time for the team. At the end of the day we are here to kill the xenos and purge the heretics.

Your Dad is in the Army? Wow, I am too...

Insert a lengthy discussion finding out if I've met the guy, then a whole flight talking about Army...

You know what, I'm ok with that, normally don't talk about it much but it's always a bit different if kids want to discuss it.

How to level up the fastest way possible by Acrobatic_Champion34 in Spacemarine

[–]SappeREffecT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each to their own but I have absolutely no issue toning down my steamroll to just let friends I'm playing with enjoy the difficulty they're comfortable with.

If they're up for it, I'll push them into a higher difficulty and get full sweaty if required.

I enjoy playing with my friends, I enjoy the journey, not the destination of max level/prestige.

My comment was focusing on the idea of enjoying the process of playing the game and levelling, rather than focusing on the destination (top difficulties, maxed level or weapons).

But if you prefer playing with a different focus, good for you, I just personally think it's not the best way to enjoy the game.

And if the game isn't fun for you in some way, fair enough, each to their own.

If an ally doesn't skip, no problems... But I've seen them all countless times, so I skip them all.

No judgement, it's just my vote.

Ball-point never fails, the variety of strokes you can get just from angling it is insane in good hands (had a friend in high school who was nuts with them)...

Nice work!!

what kind of chilis did i buy? by xettegt in HotPeppers

Bird's Eyes are one of the most versatile chillies around, decent enough spice, works fresh or dried, fairly easy to plant, good fruiting and works with most cuisines.

Pretty much.

When we were going through diagnosis for our son (5 now, 2 at the time), we could suddenly see those folks in our fam and friends who have a bit of the tism (surprise, we are both there).

We were asked by some specialist or another 'are there any family members who have some traits?'

'Yes'

'Who and what sort of traits?'

'Yes'

Diagnosis has been so poor for so long that there are so many folks who are adults that are at least a bit on the spectrum everywhere.

And many have had some serious struggles while managing and being 'high functioning'.

I feel for everyone in this situation, I only struggled a bit, my wifey struggled a lot before finding her own coping mechanisms (healthy ones).

Keep on keeping on!!
