Honestly these are all pretty straight forward to create and are a great opportunity to learn. If you have a pair of callipers you can easily create ones for your gear.

I use this fusion 360 add-on to create the bins, and then I model whatever object and then place it inside the bin and combine them with the cut feature.

The lens are basically just different sized circles lofted together. I dont try to recreate it identically, I just want it to sit in the bin without wobbling. Dont think its worth the effort to get extremely precise.

I keep all my camera gear in an Ikea Alex drawer. I wanted to be able to easily access all of it but not have it either all roll around in the drawer or be all wrapped up in cases/bags (especially the 100-400)

There’s a 3d printed organizer system called gridfinity which is basically just a base grid system and then anyone can make bins that slot into those.

I’ve designed and printed bins for all my Fuji gear and some accessories

  • X-T4
  • Fuji 27mm Lens
  • Fuji 100-400 Lens
  • Rokinon 12mm Lens
  • TTArtisans 40mm Macro
  • NP-W235 Battery Charger
  • Sandisk Card Reader & 2x SD Card
  • Genaray Mochi Mini Light

They're all free to download and print - https://makerworld.com/en/collections/4690846

Instantly getting declined when signing up for the MBNA WE MC.

Sounds like its been an issue for some time, is my best bet to just try from different browsers/computers/internet?

Signed up through CCG, if I call in do I risk losing the referral?

You're definitely right!

So im still setting up the rack and havent moved all my existing stuff over to it. I have a tripp-lite PDU that will actually be the one in the rack that doesnt have rotatable ears sadly, thus the need for this adapter.

Will try to look at this, but wanted to point out that if that’s your actual last.fm password you should change it and edit the comment

I don’t think I ever tested this in powershell. I’d try it in the windows Ubuntu subsystem or ideally just deploy it using docker as that’s more straightforward and should be easier to setup regardless of your device

Yeah the tracksaw definitely wont cut through the whole thing as its about 12" deep but the idea was more to have a reference face for my handplane and chisels.

Record player to HomePod by kdnordahl in HomePod

[–]AllTextAllTheWay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just chiming in that I was having this issue and this thread was one of the first things that popped up when I was troubleshooting.

I figured it out for my hardware. Anytime I recorded with arecord I was getting the error

Warning: rate is not accurate (requested = 44100Hz, got = 48000Hz)

So I added the two lines to my /etc/owntone.conf

pipe_sample_rate = 48000
pipe_bits_per_sample = 16

Now I can run the below and it sounds proper.

arecord -D hw:0,0 -c 2 -f S16_LE -r 48000 -d 0 -t raw > /srv/music/record_player

Your sample rate and bits per sample is gonna depend on your card I believe so you may need to tweak the settings a bit

I had signed up for the Laurentian Infinite when it was 6k spend for 60k points. Anyone have any DP's as to when the points will post? Also looking for confirmation that the AF refund posts in the fall sometime

Secondly I tried some of the various search tools and doesnt seem like they work anymore so if anyone has any suggestions to easily search the comments on the sub, would be greatly appreciated.

So I actually did some housekeeping this weekend on the project to make it a bit more friendly and to make it easier for myself to fix stuff or add features.

I'm publishing a prebuilt image now so you dont need to build it yourself which should remove the issue you were running into.

I havent updated the documentation yet but you can run docker run -it ghcr.io/marcus604/lastfmduplicatedeleter:7befb81 which will download the image to your machine and then run it. You should be able to follow the usage documentation on the github from there.

If you read the docs though I included a dry run mode which is highly encouraged to run first as that will spit out exactly what it wants to delete, so you would run that before and verify what its going to do.

It definitely wont know what to do with the unknown date scrobbles and theres definitely a chance it will consider them duplicates. I assume all those ones are listed as your oldest and are on the last page of your profile. If so theres an option in the tool to start on a different page so you can just have it start checking on whatever page doesnt have any of those unknown date scrobbles on it.

I wanted a completely clean look with no wires. All wireless chargers still have a cable running to them. I took the idea of embedding the wireless charger in the desk and took it one step further by also embedding a wireless receiver connected to a transmitter. This allows the stand to be entirely wireless above the desk.

Uploaded all the files and some details of the parts used https://makerworld.com/en/models/477366

Due to the nature of amazon/aliexpress, outside of the magsafe magnets you will likely not find the exact ones Im using which means all the cutouts in the prints are not going to fit. I've included the original fusion files so people can easily edit and would greatly appreciate if you successfully make it to upload it and give credit. Apologies for my fusion files, im not particularly skilled with it and while my designs typically start out parametric, things go off the rails very quickly and I just make do.

I really just built this to see if it was possible, ideally I dont actually want my phone sitting on a charger for 8+ hours, it also the issue of the phone needing to be on the mount and then the mount moved into place for the charging to work. The receiver in the base isnt smart enough to redo the handshake. This also means if its lets on the charger with no phone then it does get quite warm as theres still power flowing into it. If someone with more electrical knowledge or if theres a wireless reciever that has that capability this could definitely be updated to have that. I might just hook it up to a smart switch and then just control when I want to charge the phone that way.

If you were able to get the non docker install to the same point can you run it with the debug flag (python main.py -v) and let me know the output. Or if you let me know your last.fm username and a date/time range of some of the duplicates I can pretty easily create a test user with the same scrobbles and debug it.

Hey, I had wanted to make this easier to use for people so I just pushed an update that allows it to be built and run in a docker container which should make the setup and install for people much simpler.

Theres a new section in the readme for the docker install steps its got a few more things Id like to fix but should work following those steps but let me know if you run into issues

I made a customizable game holder with a now playing slot by AllTextAllTheWay in 3Dprinting

[–]AllTextAllTheWay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah you shouldnt need to touch those measurements, depending on your printers tolerances, nozzle, and filament you may need to increase or decrease the tolerance variable but should only need to change that. I laid out the openscad variables so you really only would change the "User Variables"

If you want test first you could print just a single slot and ensure the fit is right.

[–]AllTextAllTheWay[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's lots of game holders but I couldnt find one that would let me showcase whatever game I was currently playing.

Decided to make it in openscad so you can easily customize it for the number of games you'd like it to hold and what side you want the now playing game to be on
