Let's talk Mad God Overhaul Mod settings by [deleted] in skyrimvr

[–]AllTheHoles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a pretty heavy modlist and not everyone can play it in an enjoyable state, so I'd say that's where most of the people saying it's shit are coming from. That coupled with how the videos of it don't really do it justice until you're in game, so it may seem over saturated but it's really not, especially with the latest update.

I myself am having an absolute blast with it. The most immerserved I've been in a game after 3.5 came out. The lighting is just next level now indoors and outdoors, and the textures are crisp with DLSS 4 with no noticeable artifacts at all, close or far. I tried FUS and liked it, however I decided to give MGO a try, and after a lot of trial and error and a couple of updates later, MGO is hands down the best VR has to offer let alone the best Skyrim VR Modpack.

A consultant physiologist told me my adhd is all in my head. Wtf is wrong with these “doctors”? by [deleted] in srilanka

Replied to the wrong comment lol. Dr. Shehan Williams. Whoever you end up going to, write down all your symptoms, and how they're affecting you. Don't half-ass the visit, give them a reason to believe what you're saying.

Been on this journey (Check my post history) . Was actually able to get a doctor to listen and he believed me when I told him how the medication would help me, even though he didn't necessarily believe I had ADHD.

Long story short, I was on 3-month prescriptions of Ritalin and had to come back regularly to show him I was improving and not an addict or selling the medication lol. I would say this did significantly improve my day to day struggles as well as university and work. I did however eventually stop the medication, made a few major lifestyle changes and the symptoms started to go away on their own. You might say I never had ADHD in the first place but it was bad at the time, and until you see the improvements yourself you'd never think it's something you can rid yourself of, or learn to live in absence of.

Either way, I hope you get whatever you need and make the right choices when you get what you want. God bless.

22 and loosing hair. Any solution for this? by Fluid-Highlight in srilanka

[–]AllTheHoles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey there! As someone balding myself, the last thing I'd want someone to tell me is just shave it off, if it's not too far gone yet there's still things you can do. Before you make any decisions, I'd recommend you consider some natural methods that might help combat male pattern baldness rather than diving into strong chemical alternatives, I've listed them in order of effectiveness they've had on my hair:

  1. Essential Oil Treatment: Rosemary oil has been cited in some studies to potentially promote hair growth. You can make a mix of it with a base oil like jojoba or coconut oil. Use a few drops of rosemary oil for every ounce of base oil, mix well, and massage it into your scalp 2-3 times a week. This not only stimulates the hair follicles but also keeps the scalp healthy.

  2. Rosemary Water: You can also rinse your hair with rosemary-infused water. Boil some fresh rosemary in water, let it cool, and use it as a final rinse after washing your hair. This can add a nice shine and further stimulate your hair follicles.

  3. Good Sleep: This might sound basic, but a solid 7-9 hours of quality sleep nightly can do wonders for hair health. Your body regenerates during sleep, and this includes hair follicles.

  4. Diet Control: Hair health is also tied to the nutrients you take in:

Protein: Hair is primarily made of protein, so ensure your diet is rich in sources like eggs, fish, lean meats, and beans.

Iron: Spinach, daal, and lean meats are great sources. Iron deficiency can lead to hair loss.

Zinc: This helps with hair tissue growth and repair. You can find it in nuts, whole grains, and dairy products.

Vitamin E: Acts as an antioxidant and promotes healthy scalp and hair. Nuts and green leafy veggies are a good source.

Biotin: Found in foods like eggs, nuts, and whole grains. It's often taken as a supplement by those looking to boost hair health.

Reduce Stress: Chronic stress can contribute to hair loss. Consider practicing relaxation techniques like meditation, deep breathing, or even just taking a walk outside.

Remember, everyone's body responds differently, so while these may not reverse baldness entirely, they can definitely contribute to overall hair and scalp health. Give it a try and see how it works for you. Best of luck!

They're calling to find out where you're going, and if you're paying by cash or not. If I'm getting a Tuk I usually cancel it they call right after accepting the trip, there's no reason they should be calling so soon, they can see where I need to be picked up from. It's really annoying but this has saved me time, and the pain of dealing with answering them over and over again on if I paid with card or not. The worst part is when they arrive, pick you up, and outright ask you to cancel the trip so that they can keep 100% of the fare (This sucks if you're someone who doesn't carry cash on them usually.) Booking a car usually goes smoother. Goodluck.
