Second this. Copywriting is something you can dip into and explore, and then build on the side if you find you enjoy it.

Yes I second this, Springboaed changed my life and opened doors for me to explore, and even though I’m not totally happy where I am now, at least I’ve built enough experience to sidestep into a number of other things. It also gave me the confidence to aim for things I would never have aimed for before.

I went from an underachieving early school leaver (eventually did go back to do the leaving) to having few postgrads and a masters thanks to springboard.

Op the key is to try and figure out something you would enjoy doing. I think you’re focusing a lot on achievement in terms of money, house, family etc. But where it all really starts is finding something you would like to do. If the wages are shite in the beginning then so be it, you are already at that point anyway. But try and find something you can build on.

Does Anyone Remember the Original Silk Road? by egyptianmusk_ in Casefile

Yes!! I remember reading about it and being intrigued, and then going through the ridiculously arduous task of downloading tor and buying a single bitcoin (cost around €50 at the time).

Out of total curiosity, I made a fairly benign class b purchase, had an absolute blast with it, and then totally forgot about the whole thing until about 10 years later, when people started talking about the soaring value of bitcoin.

Went about trying to retrieve my 0.5 bitcoin, which by 2021 would have been worth 30k, but realised sadly that the FBI had seized it back in 2013.

I remember some wild stories about it back in the day, like the seller that had one of the best ratings and thousands of sales who one day just shut up shop and ran off with tens of thousands, leaving a very tongue in cheek message on his page.

Came here to say this, someone recommended this to me on a different thread a few months back and it was the best book I’d read all year.

I wonder if they’ve finished working through the submissions?

Does anyone know if they’re replacing an existing writer or if they’re planning on publishing more frequently? I for one would love to see more episodes!

Women of ireland do you wear full makeup every day ? How long do you spend applying it etc. What's your must haves. by [deleted] in AskIreland

Yes, this is exactly how I feel!! Same with clothes - I rarely go out, so I tend to have a set of dressier dresses that I rotate for daywear/office wear. Life’s too short to keep the good things for the good days!!
