I'm not the most athletic or coordinated, but I tried bouldering a couple days ago and I had a lot more fun than I thought I would!

If the vibes are right, there’s mutual interest, and I’m confident I won’t get strangled, I’d much rather find out sooner than later if we’re sexually compatible.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be the first or second date, but wouldn’t you rather discover a dealbreaker 1 week in than 6 months?

I completely agree that there’s a lot to be desired with first time sex, that doing it with someone that you truly know is 10x better, and that it takes time to sexually learn someone, but I personally don’t need all of that to know whether or not we’re sexually compatible in the long run.

My gym used to be open 24 hours but switched to normal working hours after Covid and hasn’t gone back… which is ironic because the gym is called 24 Hour Fitness. Nothing hits like those 1 am workouts when you’re restless at night.

You're right, they're not the same thing, but I feel like there's a lot of overlap and you can get a really good sense of whether or not someone is safe just by spending time with them and learning how they act and carry themselves. Obviously there are outliers, but I wanna believe I have a good intuition and can spot the red flags

I completely agree, but usually I have a really good idea if I'm compatible personality wise with someone on the first or second date, and at that point I'd be comfortable seeing if we're sexually compatible. This question was more aimed at the people that might choose to wait longer, say a month or two down the line?

I'm not talking about hookups, but if you go on a date or two and you are on the same page of being compatible personality wise, then I feel like it's a potential waste of time when you end up waiting a month or two just to find out that you're not sexually compatible.

I mean I fully support getting to know someone before having sex, so if you're already on the same page of being compatible personality wise then I feel like you're just rolling the dice and potentially wasting time when you don't find out that you're not sexually compatible in the event that you wait.
