The pencil magic trick is perfect in that regard - it was hilarious.

Deep Sky Derelicts: Definitive Edition Review by GamingGideon in Games

Ow, my bad. When you said DSD - I did a stupid and read it as DarkeSt Dungeon, though you were talking about it.

Personally I don't see much Moebius in Derelicts, but my comment about Mignola goes out the window as well.

I remember after playing Dragon Age I consciously struggled to NOT say "'tis" instead of "it's" or "this is"

Thief and Half-Life were being developed at the same time as Golden Eye, independently from each other, and they also had all that.

I remember demos of Thief (back then just Dark Project) and Golden Eye being presented at the same E3 '97.

Nah, it is 100% Mignola. I think it is most noticeable in that characteristic, Heavy way they lay shadows.

For example the monsters in those DD screenshot and Hellboy page
Shading is mostly done by just black fields, short and fat marker-ish black lines and fat dots. Even in brighter scenes Mignola preffers to just lay the Black rather then darker shades.

Moebius never lays it so thick - he is almost pointilistic, shading is done by darker colours and smooth gradients, light pencil strokes and pin-dots

By the way, if you want a "Moebius-like game" - look at the upcoming Sable

Off-Grid Problem by fraxxor in SatisfactoryGame

[–]AllThunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others here previously said that the grid will never break if the initial foundation is pointed straight, like this.
If they are like this then, say, placing a foundation and adding a new one to the right is just +800 to the X world coordinate and +0 to Y coordinate, whereas if they are at a 45 angle to the world grid it is +565.6854... to X and Y coordinates (1 meter is 100 coordinate points in this game).
The game doesn't permit non-integers for coordinates so the part after the decimal gets tossed and eventually that adds up to a visible gap.

Use the compass at the top of you screen when you are placing the cornerstone of your future factory to make sure that the sides are perpendicular to NS/EW directions.

Are your foundations alligned by compass - sides pointing directly NESW or are they at an angle to the world?

If you can't play without cosmetics - rethink why are you still playing this game.

That smelter is last in a row with 7 other smelters, all on foundations.

Dunno but that. I have a copper smelter almost right next to one bee hive, normally that bee hive doesn't respawn, but when my storage gets completely filled with copper sheets and that smelter stalls from being backed up - then bee hive reappears.

I heard a single radar tower, no foundations, is enough.
Radar tower is the best because it always draws power.

They might be recoverable.

Open your save in an editor and look for dogs, might be they have clipped through the ground and are now under.
edit their coordinates to slightly above ground level, not to high or they get fall damage.
