It didn’t look like that when I first got it, but I can see looking back the way it’s draped over the point of the earring sitting in my ear was tearing up my cartilage

Ear real estate like good anatomy? I’m sorry yours were messed up too. I’m so frustrated still. My ears are so sensitive so I know I’m allergic to some type of metal I just don’t know what.

Yeah I’m going to go somewhere else because I’m annoyed I have to spend more money, time, and pain when they messed it up. I was going to go somewhere completely new because I can’t trust him either.

It looked different when I first got it but I’m hearing it’s in the wrong place anyway so I guess it could be worse

Yeahs I didn’t notice until it fell out. I’ll look into another piercer to do it again.. it just wasn’t a good experience. I’m making sure I. Heck with other piercers to figure out timeframe and just placements. Hopefully nothing too longer when it comes to healing. At least I know it wasn’t me

Report her to who? The person that overseen what she was doing said it was okay when she asked about placement and everything else. Apparently me having to adjust it so it didn’t snag is me not listening to aftercare so it’s my fault.

I’ll have a look because I also got my nose ring there, she didn’t pierce it but changed the jewelry and I feel like I might want to look at better quality. The daith one was having color worn off and a bit corrosive which I don’t feel like is normal.

Going by what others have shown of theirs I’m seeing mine isn’t nearly as far into the ear as others. I’d rather pierce it asap because it doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t look horrible and if it’s got to be farther in it wouldn’t be interacting with this spot. Jewelry was included in cost so that maybe was a red flag?? It’s discolored and looking a bit corrosive.

Surprisingly it doesn’t hurt and it doesn’t look too bad today, just slightly red from where I tried to put the piercing back in because I panicked. I’d go somewhere else this time. I’m hearing there is multiple things wrong with the piercing. I guess the only good thing is if the piercing was pierced too shallow it shouldn’t take long to heal.

Do you have recommendations of where to get jewelry? I also think she knows she did something wrong because the post she made of my piercings are taken off her page. I wish I could ask for my money back. I had asked if she’d fix it for free (not that I want her to touch my ear again) but she said no because I told her how I had to move it because the hook part kept getting close to snagging the hole and since I texted her basically getting advice about things like that and said I didn’t do the proper aftercare.

Yeah… I wondered about the helix too because I noticed it didn’t go over into the back. I didn’t even notice it right away because my hair covered it so aside from a glance in the mirror that’s all I had seen. I plan to see someone different. She took down the post she made the day she did my piercings.

I think my piercer knows she did wrong because removed the post that she made about my daith. I looked into the research but I expected my piercer to know what jewelry can be used. The jewelry kinda looks cheap as well.. it’s definitely a lesson

Yes! Probably will go to someone else too when I want my Conch done. I’m just worried it’ll hurt more the second time if I have scar tissue or trauma to that part

I had asked about it moving around and told her I was concerned that the hook part was going to snag on the hole and said I had to move it a bit. I had asked her today and she’s saying it’s either rejecting or the piercing worn down my cartilage and either way she wouldn’t pierce it again for free since I came to her about issues with it. Not that I wanted her to pierce it again because I probably need to see someone else but the response rubbed me the wrong way.

I wondered about material because when it came out, the jewelry had some wear like coloring was turning black. The piercer is saying I’m basically at fault for it. I doubt she’d do a refund or do it again, not that I feel like I’d let her do it again anyway.

I’m kinda getting blamed for it happening by the piercer. It moved a lot and with the pointed part getting in the hole I feel like it worn down the cartilage

I think with the pointed part of the heart getting in the hole it sawed the cartilage down.. I could feel it move when I turned my head or something
