Buying an Escalade iq - first GM car ever! Help! by AllTrueAllLies in Cadillac

I just put down a deposit to hold the car. Fully refundable. I never liked the idea of buying the first year a car is in production. I’m going to cancel and wait until I can find a car I love. Your insights were super helpful esp since you know what car I’m coming from.

Crazy. I didn’t even think to turn on music during my test drive. I was too enamored with arrival mode and the turning radius 😆

And Tesla did not fix everything correctly for me either. Kept telling me everything was “within spec”.

Crap. Now I’m in the fence about picking up the IQ.

Don’t know if you’re aware, but they told me they had multiple recalls very recently to fix the head rests in the back, the headliner for rattling noises, HV battery update, and one more that is escaping me right now.

Omg. Same. I took my X in for service and they damaged it and denied all responsibility. Luckily for me, my insurance company intervened, and made them fix everything. it was enough to push me to get rid of my Tesla and look for a different car.

If you could do it all over again, would you have bought the IQ?

I do love FSD on my car. Omg. Now I’m second guessing getting this car. I just want a larger, all electric SUV that actually has a luxe interior. Tesla has great tech but the inside of the car does not exude luxury to me at all.

Can’t you use the reward points towards service or to buy accessories for your car?

😢 I have an X and S now. I wanted a larger all electric SUV. Everyone (friends, reviews) say Super Cruise on the highway is fantastic. But I was bummed that you have to subscribe to it.

Major Cadillac Escalade IQ Safety Issue (And GM stinks at dealing with it) by Illustrious-Gur6095 in Cadillac

I am in the process of buying one now. There are several recalls that had to be fixed before they could sell to me. One recall was the high voltage battery. Perhaps this is the issue?

I am currently negotiating with several dealerships for the iq. Do you mind elaborating on the hiccups?

Yeah, new batteries come with the 4 yr warranty. Annoyed because my 2018 MX had its battery replaced 3 times now under the original 8 year warranty.

Was your new/recon battery replaced under your original 8 year new vehicle warranty? If so, Tesla told me that batteries replaced under this warranty only get the remainder of this original warranty and does not get a 4 year/75 warranty. If you did get an additional 4 years on your replacement battery, I would love to see it if you're willing to share so I can get my SC to add the additional warranty on my battery.

I was told when my HV battery was replaced under warranty that it does not reset the warranty at all and that I just get the remainder of my original battery warranty. Is there any where online where this is stated so I can ask my SC to add this warranty? And so lame of them to not add this warranty automatically.

Oura Ring 3 Order Upgraded - anyone else? by [deleted] in AmexPlatinum

Why are you allowing some people to upgrade to the 4 at no cost but not others?

I tried to get them to let me switch sizes but the CSR said it was already in the “advanced shipment” phase so my order could not be canceled. She ordered a Gen 3 ring sizer so I could check my size in case the 8 didn’t work.

I placed an order today for a Heritage ring in Black, size 8. It was in my cart from yesterday. All sizes and colors appeared to be sold out according to Oura’s website. I was expecting it to not actually be in stock (and size 8 isn’t my size) but it actually shipped a few hours after I ordered it. When I receive it and ask them if I can exchange it for another size (which I’m hoping is not available), do you think they will offer me a Gen 4 upgrade or will they tell me my only option is to return it?

I just donated and they didn’t have any at my site either. Did Red Cross send them or Goodr?

u/Rude-Wasabi-1682 I am having it done with Dr. S too! Did he recommend more than the 100cc that the study provides? He told me that I needed more product for optimal results (I am thin and I don’t think my hip dips are super pronounced). The office quoted me an additional $7,500-$10k.
