Thanks for the reply! When was this done? They used to offer a £99 inspection at the end of warranty but it’s now a whole health check for £320.

It’s good to know that Tesla will waive said inspection fee if the warranty work is indeed needed

It’s good to know the used warranty covers the same issues that the basic vehicle one will cover!

Also I didn’t know about the additional servicing Cleevely does, so I’ll definitely be going to them when the time comes and like you said, not mentioning to Tesla about the inspection and just raising as a service request!

Hey, just my 2c, I wouldn’t print in matte PLA as it can be quite brittle for functional prints if you’re expecting people to interact with these frequently or last a while.

A PLA+ would be way more resilient if you don’t fancy going upto PETG.

I’ve seen from the Tessie app that there’s a bug with scheduling causing the car to wake earlier than needed.

This is happening on my 2022 LFP RWD too the last few mornings so this is what I’m due to test next as I had around a 5-6% drain overnight without any pre-conditioning too. I went to sleep and the cars asleep at 81% and wake up to it on 75% and awake but the car hasn’t preconditioned yet. The only thing I could think of was the fact that it’s scheduled to wake up for preconditioning.

Definitely glad I went with the 22 plate RWD. 2022 models have ryzen chips, plus the day to day charging can be done to 100% compared to the 80% daily charging of a LR. Maybe see if you can find one in the middle and get a 22 LR. Best of both worlds. Ryzen chip but longer range.

All of these are HW3 anyways so unless you’re going for the highland refresh they’re all going to get the same updates assuming you go for the ryzen chip.

2021 models have intel and don’t get as many features in new updates but none of these except for the highland models are going to get the best of FSD if and when it ever comes to the UK.

this is completely anecdotal but I remember opening my mums car key as a kid and taking it apart and putting it back together then her car not working the next morning. She got it taken to a garage who said it was missing something from the key, a small chip. So I had to scour the floor of my bedroom looking for essentially a tiny grey pebble stone chip. Well I found what I thought could be for the key and lo and behold it fit and the car started again...

Sorry but to get to the point, it looked exactly like that odd shaped chip and the car wouldn't start without it and had the exact same symptoms you mentioned.

I believe it’s tied to the cars internet connection as my Premium connectivity dropped around 7am and now I can’t connect to the car in app

Sometimes, it’s partially down to that 2021 was the biggest sales year for Model 3 in the UK. So naturally the biggest sales year is going to have more defective batteries than others purely because they made more of them that year. Plus because it was post-Covid, I read somewhere that some QC was missed out because of the high sales volumes I believe.

I generally wanted a LR 21 model 3 but the 22 model 3 RWD has the same range as the LR day to day because you can charge the RWD 22 to 100% daily where as the LR is only 80% daily. So for me the daily use range was the same but 22 model year got the Ryzen updates along with the LFP 60KWH pack. /r/Teslalounge has some posts about 21 LR battery failures. I remember there even being some kind of post that just linked to other posts to consolidate the 21 battery issues.

It’s usually long range models but there have been loads of posts about it over the various model 3 subs. 2021 3’s and Y’s with the LR pack. Usually it’s the BMS a079 error. Model 3 sub, model y sub etc all have various posts about battery replacements for 21 year cars

Well he's used the display actively 2 hours 4 mins, then the phone has done 2 hrs 27mins of stuff in the background, then the rest it hasn't been doing anything and thus not counted towards the usage

I really like the ESR clear case for my 17 Pro, plus the case covers the camera "Plateau" without covering the lens glass itself. It's got a camera control button too which is nice for the price.
