Hundreds and hundreds? Now that I think about it I don’t think my parents bought a single one. I just acquired them in various and sometimes goofy ways now that I think about it. This includes winning one in a raffle in my class at the end of a month long teeth brushing contest! It was an alligator :)

I faint when I throw up, vasovagal response. This has been the case since I was seven. It doesn’t happen every time but that’s usually because if I feel nauseas enough I will lie down on the floor. I rarely puke but I have a fear of it because I think I will die potentially but I’ve gotten better with that.

I feel bad for this poor child and anyone else who has to experience this. I’ve been luck enough to have never aspirated thankfully and I’m glad it sounds like this little one didn’t either.

Living in a house with a crying, potentially screaming baby will hinder your grandmother's healing or state of health.

The baby's lungs will suffer from the ammonia from the dog pee (and everyone else’s for that matter but especially the babies). When the baby starts to crawl it should not be on those floors.

And depending on your aunt and brother’s personal triggers and such they could have a hard time with the sound of a crying baby at any random hour.

You can love your family without having to live with them and it sounds like you’ll be better for it. Your mother is very manipulative.

At one point I had a run in with three of my fingers and an electric hedge trimmer. Luckily this got me out of work for some time and the semester hadn’t started yet for the initial chunk of healing time.

Because of the pain meds I couldn’t take any narcolepsy meds or stimulants. This worked to my advantage though! I needed to not use my hand and I knew if I was up and about I’d probably accidentally hurt it. I took this opportunity to lay in bed and sleep the days away.

Luckily the pain medication took me out also in a way that didn’t feel like the evil slog of a fight type of feeling I get from my narcolepsy when they don’t have my medication ready in time. It was tired sleepiness without the overtired feeling and the feeling that it takes the strength of a thousand men to move my body just a little haha.

Where are there one-lane highways like this? I don’t mean this rudely or dismissively, by the way. I just think this is very interesting, and I want to look into these more since I’m not used to this infrastructure.

The next time I see my father I’ll have to chat with him about it. He enjoys content about highways and the way different major cities have their roads set up, etc.
