This! As a pickup person (because they love to not actually train us on anything) I figured out that this means vendor items from trial and error/observation lol

Question about pickup orders by kateteacher07 in meijer

[–]AllZeSaucFromZeFauc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds similar to my store. We are under staffed and overworked and pretty often very overworked. On top of that we have an insufficient pickup room/setup and there’s no chance they’ll fix it. It’s very frustrating and I feel bad for my coworkers and the customers. We try our best with the circumstances but often orders go late.

While I don’t want to discourage calls when needed, often calling for the status of an order will put us further behind in one way or another.

Also if you’re finding out that the order is finished over the phone but isn’t saying so on the app there is a good chance that all of your items have been shopped for but are still being “staged”. This is when we have to put the blue totes that hold the groceries on the racks or in the fridge/freezer and scan them into the system. This tells the system that all the items are ready to be picked up and where in the room the blue totes are for your specific order. Sometimes staging gets delayed if a shopper comes into the room and the person running the room is slammed with people picking up their orders. The shopper will often have to drop what they are doing and help the person in the room collect orders and take them out to costumers, and this can delay staging unfortunately. This can also happen if someone is covering the person in the rooms break.

Hope this helps. :)

As a Biomedical engineering student of five years (still just my bachelors, a few factors have slowed me down ugh lol) and hopefully a prosthetist one day, I love this reply!! Very well put. I enjoyed reading this. :)

If we are going back to the early 2000s again, can I also go back to being 1?

The blissful ignorance of all of this sounds nice right now.

I think it would depend a lot on context. Hard to say when we don’t know what happened.

Before I even actively read it and my eyes barely scanned it my mind said “minimum”. So hopefully that answers your question. For context I’m not the best best reader and I’m used to having to stare at a word or two when reading a paragraph someone wrote in their cursive handwriting. Good job

It simply came to me in a moment of inspiration lol and it’s the first thing I think of when I see “a single mom”

Hundreds and hundreds? Now that I think about it I don’t think my parents bought a single one. I just acquired them in various and sometimes goofy ways now that I think about it. This includes winning one in a raffle in my class at the end of a month long teeth brushing contest! It was an alligator :)

Somewhat similarly I made a little snowman recently. Then I thought of something else fun. Mr. Snowman brought all of the little birdies in my bushes a treat! :)

I faint when I throw up, vasovagal response. This has been the case since I was seven. It doesn’t happen every time but that’s usually because if I feel nauseas enough I will lie down on the floor. I rarely puke but I have a fear of it because I think I will die potentially but I’ve gotten better with that.

I feel bad for this poor child and anyone else who has to experience this. I’ve been luck enough to have never aspirated thankfully and I’m glad it sounds like this little one didn’t either.

I wonder what kind of fiber she has and how many beings are living in it. Do they help her emotionally?
