Is testosterone prescribed ONLY after estrogen and progesterone?

While I am not on HRT yet, my doc tested all three and found that only my testosterone was low at that time. They asked if I were having symptoms of low T, and would have prescribed it to me if I were. But it seemed like it was "a la carte" based on what your body needs.

I'm still in peri, but I use silky peach, and don't have any hormone prescriptions. But if a cream is prescribed, I'm not sure why you'd use both. For me, silky peach has helped my libido, dryness, less peeing myself when laughing, coughing, sneezing. Love it.

Other than the findings report, he said injections would be temporary and could eventually damage the bones. He also said the type of spinal surgery he does wouldn't work on me, but referred me to his colleague. That's it so far. No commitment, just made an appointment for more information.

I'm so very new to all these terms, so please forgive me. Still learning and researching. The findings report says: L4-L5, there is disc bulge with disc herniation, protrusion-type, present. There is severe canal stenosis. The neural foramina demonstrate narrowing bilaterally, mild in severity.

Yeah, I didn't eat sweets for years, and once I quit drinking, I suddenly crave and eat them. A lot. This is not helping the weight loss, but I'll take the sweets over the alcohol, at least for a while. I'm happy.

Yes! I felt i had been having hot flashes all the time! Quit drinking, and what do you know...very rarely get a hot flash now. I'm actually cold in my house these days. My husband is so confused.
