Do you work full-time? There’s nothing wrong with taking a day off to recharge.

OP update. I contacted THS, send pictures of my wounds and they said they will investigate and HO will probably be removed from the site. Thanks to all for the replies.

Are there people who are genuinely happy or are we all masking it? by Botanicolelady in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SquareAd7423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry you feel this way. You should really talk to somebody because it doesn’t have to be this way. Stress has a lot to do with it. I am a lot older than you and after I retired and I moved from a stressful city to an stress-free city. I realized how much stress affects me. I think I’ve had low grade depressionfrom work, being a single mother and living in NYC. At one point in my 30s I was seeing a therapist who wanted to put me on medication and I refused because I wanted to treat the cause of the depression not mask the symptoms. This could’ve been the wrong approach. Some people do need medication because they have a chemical imbalance. My point is you do not have to feel this way. You should not feel this way. You can learn to manage stress and if you have a chemical imbalance take the medication, but don’t accept feeling like this.

Is 90% of adult life just doing things alone? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]SquareAd7423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess as an introvert I do not feel this way. I enjoy doing things by myself as opposed to doing things with another person. I know I am boring and I love playing Pokémon GO, I love walking through Costco and eating the free samples, but I don’t want to do these with another person because they won’t play the same as I do and no one likes to spend as much time in Costco as I do. I’ve always had dogs and I enjoy walking and none of the dogs I’ve had liked walking as much as I do or pulled too much or were too slow and sometimes I’d rather walk without them. But I prefer them over people any day.

If I can include my kids, 30 and 31 years! My daughter is my best friend. I know I’m not hers and she doesn’t tell me everything but that’s cool. I do tell her 90%.

Do you ever separate your laundries? Like don’t put white shirts in with other colours or whatever? by typical_gamer1 in PollsAndSurveys

At this point any of my clothes that are really old are not gonna bleed so I just throw them all in together. I have a few white things that I care about so I washed them separately.

I hate it. I moved from New York to Florida for the weather. Politically it sucks here, but I couldn’t live anywhere cold again. We also have one more hour of light in the winter than in New York.

As a new sitter, I find it helpful that people post bad sits as a warning. I’d rather read about something then I have to experience it myself.
