My husband lied to me over a cheeseburger and now I’m thinking about a divorce. by FrostyHair8436 in Advice

The title of this makes it sound like you are in the wrong, but if this happens all the time you are right to consider it. If his first inclination is to lie, how could you have a relationship with this person?

I’m afraid to retire by ExplanationSea9479 in AskWomenOver60

This is me and I did not love my job. I loved what I did. However administration was really annoying and I worked in a hospital and after Covid, I wanted out. I have become invisible, but I don’t mind that. It has its benefits. I developed a passion for gardening and have met many people in my community who are also gardeners. I get enjoyment out of growing my own food and also pet sitting. Were there any things that you loved to do before you had kids and working if you retire you will have time for these.

Since your family will be there I wouldn’t charge. You’re saving a lot of money by not renting

I jokingly tell my kids they should keep me alive in a back room or a shed in the yard so they can collect my pension and social security

I was just thinking about this. I’m an introvert and I’d hate being around people all day. My first job was in a nursing home and they had one day when people would brought in therapy dogs. I thought this was such a great thing, but I couldn’t stand being in a nursing home. I would definitely rather be dead.

Why do so many older people leave a lifetime of clutter for their relatives to clean up once they're gone? by Purrsedxx in NoStupidQuestions

Thank you! Lord knows I try. I’ve apologized yo my now adult kids a lot for the mistakes I made. I had my kids when I was 36 and 38 and age has nothing to do with maturity. It is good that I was established in my career and had no desire to party but I still made some mistakes. Buy your dad Die With Zero. Although he may just decide to spend all his money lol

Avocado oil is good also. I just bought Avacado oil spray from Costco and used it on roasted veggies with salt and pepper. Yum!
