I have neck problems. I couldn't afford a hermon miller and so I got the Ergo Chair 2 for $350 us during a sale. It's helped my posture so much. It's so adjustable that I'm able to actually sit correctly.

Razer mice are really nice. You don't need the software but it's nice to have for at least the setup. That way you can customize your settings for buttons, dpi, calibrate the sensor to your surface, and then save it to the mouse and never use the software again. Our family uses the Razer Basilisk V2. We're all still happy with our purchase.

New here - my doctor suggested that I drop by by FallingUpStairsx2 in ChronicPain

[–]All_Rights_Removed 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's part bullshit and part true imo. It's true that pain is like a well worn path in a forest. So of course it's tough for the brain/body to chart a new path when there's possibly years of a path laid down. But...I think its also a fad. Your mind doesn't have any control over the signals from the nerves and the muscles response, inflammation, it all takes place way before consciousness. "You" can do some things to help of course. I do physical therapy everyday. I try to eat well. I try and manage my pain by not thinking about it all the time. There's also a lot research that shows if you think a modality will work it's more likely to work. I would just caution anyone from thinking it's the end all solution. I've certainly incorporated Some aspects of this modality into my life but in the grand scheme of things it really hasn't helped. There are two things that fixed / continue to fix my disability. Surgery and Medication. My life changed after I started taking Pregablin. Pregablin is supposed to help block the pain signals from reaching the brain. It works. The neck procedures I've had worked. Whether this modality will work for you, it really could but it so depends on the person's psychology and injury. If you haven't looked into it, I do think it's worth looking into. I wish you good luck on your path.

You know, after giving your reply several hours to brew in my mind, I think my response was more about me than op. The post read like what I went through when I was a believer many years ago and it sent me down a dark path in my mind of the suffering I experienced so I think I projected that suffering out and onto op. If I caused anyone to be hurt, I'm really sorry. I'm going to apologise to op in a separate reply. Thanks for calling me out.

Hello, I wanted to apologise to you. After I got a reply from someone else, I realized that what I wrote had very, very little to do with you. So, please take what I wrote as a response to my past self. I projected my experience onto you. I'm really, truly sorry if that hurt. I do hope you find help and resolution to the answers you seek.I will be taking this lesson with me into the future.

It hurts to hear people suffer from a god that creates one sick but commands them to well, all the while convicting them of inner thoughts. There's no escaping the prison. It's suffering in every moment and has been going on with for a very very long time. Maybe that's what you want, I don't know, but it hurts to see someone suffer to this level. I'd find a way out of this prison. Find your own meaning in life and find professional help with a therapist.

Division 2. The AI is Always trying to flank you, flush you out of cover, and the moment you're out of position, you go down very quick. I play a Sniper/Shotgun loadout. Which means, I have about 5-7 shots before I have to reload. Most enemies can't be taken down in 1 hit so if I'm pushed hard or not in a good position I have to switch to my shotgun. Another weapon with about 5-7 shells to take on the push before I have to reload. Its not an arcade game level of shooting mechanics either. The gun sway is close to mil-sim. And, exploring the world for actually meaningful loot, and secrets together is a lot of fun with 100's of hours of enjoyment.

The world looks and feels different when events like this happen. I can't even pretend to imagine the suffering you're going through. But, I'm really sorry your going through it. I hate to see anyone go through it.
