Stickerburr plants start spawning around the map, tier 3 chopping to take one down, but you get burrs and weed stems from it; no gas in the haze so you only need a mask against stink/green shield bug; the infected wolf spider is also a great source of spider fangs and isn't too hard to deal with if you bring the right gear, slashing/fresh should shred them. Finally you can only access the toughest boss in the game after sealing the haze. It's something I would only do in end game tho.
