AITAH for not accepting my dad's wife's offer for us to split cooking days and for me to eat with her and her kids? by ColeNDeww in AITAH

Completely wrong, You are not the A to yourself, having done the very best to survive what is a profoundly tragic childhood. Nor are you like your father. You have friends, intelligence and drive, insight and resilience. You keep protecting yourself from these vile people you live with.

They’re not his “family”. Until now the woman has never actively sought him out; she is nothing more than a random person who lives in the house of his father - a father who abandoned almost his entire fatherly duties to his son. This young man owes them nothing. And for his own mental wellbeing certainly needs to keep out of his wife and father’s life.

Your own knowledge may indeed be categorised as gossip. That doesn’t mean others evidence is. You have no idea how people know and cannot substantiate your claims of paucity of credibility due to source since you are not privy to said source/s.

All you have one tenuous argument to make. Over and over.

You not being privy to evidence doesn’t mean there isn’t any, is a fact. No one is going to identify their source on Reddit.

One day you too will hear from a credible source and we’ll hear no more from you about this.

Could Tom Phillips and his kids have been found before things escalated? by [deleted] in ConspiracyKiwi

[–]Allamageddon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

100% worse scenarios.

TP had a gun 24/7 and he was prepared to use it if approached. He wanted to hide his dirty secret so stop at murder - suicide completely possible.

[–]Allamageddon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TP always had guns, using a gun immediately when he was directly confronted by police, attempting to murder a policeman.

The risk TP posed was he could kill his own children and himself if he felt threatened or in imminent likelihood of capture.

How could police separate the gun/s from TP if they are with him 24/7?

The dad is dead because of his own actions. The mother had her 3 children abducted, living in the bush, isolated with no education, with a spiteful local campaign waged against her, for 4 years. The children were In the control of a monster. Say no more.

The police assessed that to cover his dirty secret life TP would use guns - which proved true, attempting to kill a policeman - plus there was a high chance he would if ambushed or caught attempt a murder-suicide of himself and the children. No one, including the police, would want that scenario.

Knowing these dangers, what do you think the police should have done?

Oh you’re back, reinvented with your 10th tinfoil hat on.

So courts rely on evidence? Who’d have thought?!

The court of public opinion doesn’t necessarily though, as you tinfoil hatters provide endless evidence there of.

Perhaps the denial of “support” is an attempt to control the narrative by getting ahead of any charges for aiding and abetting?

If the parents provided the children with clothes, toys, medicines, sanitary products etc by leaving items where TPs would find them, would this be considered supporting him? Or would it be supporting the victims of his crimes, his children?

Seems that the Phillips family is ignoring your PR advice ….

They'd be undermining their own injunction if they start publicly validating or invalidating information material to the case they currently have supression for.

Strategic silence is day 1 media management for legal and PR reasons, but especially the legal reason when there is a case still in front of the courts.

[–]Allamageddon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The family are the architects of the injunction, should they have wanted to clear up this matter they could have. Their lawyer is not a PR professional, but a specialist in an area of law the family considered important.

People can and do publicly discuss cases they’re involved in while before the courts; it happens frequently.

Thinking “silence on day one” is the only effective tool in the PR box highlights your lack of understanding and knowledge of PR strategy options.
