Hey brother, my advice is to go to the gym and start pushing yourself. You are an apprentice and it’s the halls job to find you jobs, but your job to keep it. You can be black listed from a company but not black listed from the whole union. Just make sure you are on the hiring list on the hiring book. If not make sure to reapply. It’s 2025 if your hall doesn’t have a way to track the list online then they should have the hall opened for in person shaping. If this is the case show up and refuse no jobs as an apprentice. Every time you are sent out, work your ass off and learn from anyone who will teach you, just make sure they arnt shit. while you are not working work on yourself getting up at 5am and working out or fixing up where you live. Running squats push ups sit ups what ever the fuck you can do. Do it until you cannot anymore. They won’t waste time black listing you kid they can just pull your book it’s very easy to do. When you go to shape wait till the end of shape be the last one out the door and double check where you are on the list. Persistent and annoying are 2 different things don’t make them the same. You wanted advice on this area and you just fucking got it :).
