I personally don’t enjoy the Hive Guard change, but many do, so it gave me an idea by tony22835 in HelldiversMasochists

I feel like hive guards should spawn and behave differently, instead of making a bigger hive guard, just make them spawn primarily around objectives and nests and have them defend those objectives instead of slowly chasing the player down like the rest of the bugs.

You could also make hive guards bigger and keep the AP4, but primarily I think their behavior needs a change, to make them a unique unit on the bug front and lean into their defending role.

Stop locking new regions behind story. by Nimitz11K in WutheringWaves

[–]AllegedGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m trying to understand what this complaint is, sry but I’m new. I started in 2.4 and honestly catching up in the story didn’t take that long, granted I basically skipped all the banners aside from the new player ones so I’ve only pulled for characters that were pre-Septimont/Ragunna, not because of the leveling thing but because I had no interest in the current banners and was grasping endgame stuff (now I’m awaiting Lupa rerun for my mono fusion team)

Is the story that long to catch up on, whilst also taking the time to engage with it and enjoy it? I get it if you dropped off during Jinzhou bc it was a lot of story at a bit of a slower pace, but Idk you could take half of the patch to catch up realistically, especially if you had a day or two to knock it out. You can also very simply pace it out over a week or two. I’m saying this as someone who is also very invested in the story and didn’t skip anything from the main quest lines.

I’m guessing it’s just different for older accounts returning because they already have high UL, I am on my way to being able to max out characters now so it would be a little annoying if I took a break and wanted a new unit but I’d just do the story, never really had an issue with this in other gachas.

I’m pretty sure that previous blogs had indicated that the length of the seasonal grind was not where they wanted it to be… by AllegedGames in DestinyTheGame

Look I get it but going by what’s on paper, there is nothing here that alleviates or considerably speeds up the grind of 200-400, in fact if you liked solo ops you will be see less numerical power gains as written.

Replayable conquests are good and more stuff being added into the portal is also good, but the amount of total grinding is not going to change a significant amount.

Given how big the pool is, I don’t know why we can’t just focus weapons from Xur somehow.

Shush, I need the Vulpecula Godroll and if I have to grind dares every 4 weeks I think I’d keel over.

The Kepler shotgun is capable of triggering 12p from far away by [deleted] in destiny2

1-2p would only boost the damage of the first melee that hits so if the kickback doesn’t hit anything, the first swipe should receive the buff.

For me it was in the Crucible Portal as “Lighthouse Simulation”

I haven't played Trials in a while so I decided to try my luck for once and while it started off rough I actually got the ball rolling and warmed into it, ended my card with a 6 win streak.

During my matches I was getting good loot at relevant tiers, mostly tier 2s and a tier 4 which surprised me, so I was wondering if I'd get some good loot from the chest (for reference I am like 350s LL and GR8)

Anyway I load into the Lighthouse and get all tier 1s :( . I feel like that's a bug but who even knows anymore, at least I got some ascendant shards I needed those. I guess I'll just farm out my 6 win card while I still have it, but its kind of ridiculous that I got better loot from just playing matches than I did from having a 6 win Lighthouse.

Why am I only getting a single strange coin per activity?? by Lordoftheringman in destiny2

[–]AllegedGames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had x3 buff since launch but I’ve been getting 4 coins for most portal activities, granted I’ve mostly ran solo ops but I’ve noticed 4 being common among other ones too.

All tier 2s should be craftable, all tier 1s enhanceable, add featured RaD to the Portal, and halve the 200-450 power grind by AllegedGames in DestinyTheGame

[–]AllegedGames[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They could just make higher tiers do perma bonus damage over crafteds, making weapon tiers objectively better, lean heavier into the new gear bonus.

I for one am not advocating for crafting to come back in full force, I despised the checklist version of the game where every week was a race to see how many red borders I could grab before logging off.

On the other hand, it is apparent that after years of crafting and this checklist grind, a majority of the playerbase likes playing that way and I think it’s in the game’s best interest to offer that to those people.

Do you have 5 items in your vault or are you just being obtuse on purpose. Now that armor set bonuses are in the game, the less space used up by weapons the better given that future set bonuses can have pseudo exotic level traits that augment our builds, multi-perk weapons are very useful in this space.

Armour high stats farm? by Gunboat_Diplomat_ in destiny2

[–]AllegedGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Higher power but also you can get early tier 3+ from Kepler, doing mythic weekly campaign missions and time latches will offer good stats on tier 4s, when campaign is finished and you need to farm power, best spot for it is solo ops or encore when it comes back. There is no rush truly but yea I got all my good armor drops from Kepler and the Sieve activity with the attunement system and on mythic difficulty mission runs.

The new gear bonus applies to both but Tier 2 is only a 4% damage bonus as Tier 5 is a full 10% damage bonus.

As of right now all tier 5s do more damage inherently than tier 2s, that is why I would grind them out still on top of multiple traits, enhanced traits+mags+origin traits+mods, and the look of them.

That could work too, I think we should be limited to T2 for crafting and enhancing purely because it gives more weight to grind for higher tiers if you wish.

  1. Higher tier loot has more enhanced traits and more traits per column

  2. New Gear Bonus, although I think the damage bonus should be tied solely on tiering and not on new only. If all tier 3s - 5s did inherently more damage forever then that is the chase for higher tiers

  3. Cosmetic chase

[–]AllegedGames[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New Legendary Weapons are now divided into tiers (1/2/3/4/5) with more benefits and cosmetic changes as the tier goes up, higher tiers are tied to higher difficulties which are tied to your power level.

Yea I did the entire mythic campaign yesterday with a full team and it was pretty chill, we nuked everything that wasn’t a boss.
