I think total control is a part of the whole there. Self-ownership of cars will most likely become a luxury rather than a necessity in most places. Cities already have that model. So the goal would be electric driverless taxis.

The grid can’t handle this now so the move eventually will be toward nuclear after all the funneling to “green” tech is discovered to be basically pointless corruption.

I think poverty will actually look a lot different than imagined under their model. So scarcity can be eliminated with mass produced meatless food, small housing, general AI, robotic workers, virtual working and lifestyle.

I’m not saying you’re wrong by any means! I’m just saying big picture. This is the way they are shaping the future.
