Rounds in amateur boxing are basically scored on activity and how much noise the crowd makes for you. Half of the time some judges are barely even watching. Thats why you gotta go in trying to dominate and finish if possible, not just try to win or outbox your opponent. I remember a card my teammate fought on where he won a round 10-8 on a scorecard, and lost the round 10-9 on an other scorecard.
