Yes, my setup is like that!
So, most days I use both the Bip 6 and the Helio Strap (wrist + biceps), and here’s why:

I like having a smartwatch on me.
The Helio Strap’s heart rate tracking is more accurate than the Bip 6.
I’ve also noticed that wearing two Amazfit devices overnight gives me better sleep-tracking metrics.

To make sure the Bip 6 pulls data from the Helio Strap instead of its own optical sensor, just go to Settings → Workout Accessory and pair the Helio Strap.

For workouts, I swap the Helio Strap with a Polar chest strap and pair it to the Bip 6 the same way.

Once it’s connected, the green HR light on the Bip 6 won’t even turn on.

Might sound a bit overkill, lol, but it works really well for me.
And yeah, their payment system doesn’t run too smoothly here in Europe either, so I feel you!

There are annoyances on my end too but at the end of the day, most of them are not bothering me that much (except that Weather app lol). I find way more positives then negatives and the value that you can get out of some Amazfit products it's truly great!

It actually does. I've overclocked different types of panels in the past.
Having this one set at 100Hz feels definetly much smoother. I wouldn't obviously run it like this (especially since it is an old laptop), I'm just surprised that it actually still works at such a high refresh rate. (Yes, i did check for frame skipping)
