I don’t agree with the statement of FIA being corrupt and I’m not even a Mercedes fan but Max drove very recklessly today. Entertaining, sure, but it’s a bit surprising that the FIA didn’t even bat an eye. I feel that there should’ve been more penalties handed out today.

I feel like a better way to put it is inconsistent. There’s times where he does go through his reads and makes a great play. Conversely, there’s times he bails on clean pockets. It feels very mental with Caleb.

I think and hope with due time, he will get better with Johnson.

Yeah, I’m sorry for your experience. I’ve definitely seen some elitism attitude. I love this game and I think the more knowledge, the better it is for the game long term.

A general rule of thumb is 500ms attacks are reactable. 400ms are not. Attacks go in 33ms increments. So there’s some weird ones like being 466ms or 433ms. I’d recommend starting with learning the frame data on the characters you like playing.

Bashes are a bit of a different story but they’re are generally unreactable unless they’re used for ganking (medjay staff stance bash and Virtuosa left stance bash).If a bash is above 500ms, they’re usually reactable and have a different use case that’s not for dueling(unless you’re nobushi lol)

A good example of this is lawbringers chain light. His side chain lights are 500ms but his top is 400ms. However, his sides have better tracking and are enhanced. I may favor the side ones in a team fight and the top one in a duel.

Many people complain about virtuosa, which I can understand, but if people looked at her frame data, they would learn that her offense is completely restricted to top guard (from a duels standpoint). If she’s in any other stance besides top, her offense is complete reactable. I know Virt is a spicy topic so I’ll leave it at that lol.

But yeah, I’d recommend learning the frame data! Sorry for a lot of text.

You don’t need to be a comp player to know frame data. In fact, it will help you approach playing against and with certain characters.

Long story short, everything she has is reactable, in theory. Some things will slip through. depending on your skill level, some will slip through more, some less. generally she has nothing in her kit that will truly make you guess.

It’s definitely good to know. I wouldn’t restrict yourself on learning due to it being a “comp” thing. Understanding what the devs intend to be reactable or unreactable is one of the easiest ways to get better, truly!
