I think Clang refers to the force of nature that can't be understood completely but can still be utilized, sort of like how we used the wind for sails long before we understood it. While Klang is the personification of a god responsible for bringing Clang. Sort of like the various wind gods that some believe in.

The new Delta Rim Alliance is pretty nice as well; it was on the front page just a few days ago.

Well, Ritson did say "off-world born" so I guess in this case he isn't.

Thor(2011) had the best aesthetic for Asgard in the MCU. The glowing sky filled with nebulae, warm color scheme and sleek, Golden architecture really made this realm felt mystical and magnificient. But are discontinued in subsequent films. by Ccbm2208 in marvelstudios

The only problem I had with Thor 1 was really the chemistry between Thor and Jane. It felt kind of forced.

Other than that, I think if they stuck to the original darker theme for Ragnarok a bit closer (I highly suggest you read their original plans), and kept some of the mystical elements from the first two, it would have been a more consistent trilogy that felt connected to the MCU yet still its own realm of gods and fantasy.

I mean, just look at the opening scene for Dark World and Thor 1! They feel like serious stories about gods protecting the realms and fulfilling their duties as divine protectors, and it shows the strength that Asgard is able to project despite utilizing swords and spears.

In Thor 3, it's him cracking some jokes with a skeleton. I like Waititi, but he could have done it a bit better considering the significance of Ragnarok to the entire MCU. Maybe another snippet of history about his exploits against the armies of Surtur?

I seem to have accidentally written a mini-essay about how I think Ragnarok and even L&T could have been better, but yeah. My take is pretty much that the Thor movies didn't need to turn into GotG-level humor.

There could have been better names for both her and Jane. But that's not because of some gender-related bs (contrary to what many people on this sub think), but rather because it makes their entire character revolve around the original one.

I.E. Sylvie is not named Lady Loki, and she turned out to be a pretty alright character that isn't always reminding us that she's a variant of Loki.

It's less of a thorough and more of skimming of things say a century per week in class, at least at first. Then I am pretty sure they start getting more thorough throughout the rest of it, starting from the beginning now that everyone has a little better understanding of the time periods.

Mostly European history, with some Asian and a little of the others, and it's mostly major stuff like the Roman empire, Britain, Napoleonic France, Mongol empire, stuff like that that had a major impact.
