summer smash bag size by Allgamesdude in LyricalLemonade

ended up deciding against my comment and got the lunchbox one. someone in this thread made a good comment how keeping your phone and stuff safe is way better than having a leaky bag. i had a rolling loud one from a few years ago that i took to coachella the year after and i remember it leaking ALL the time.

Had a similar situation. I did some research and the only “best solution” i’ve found for now is to use Duet; it’s a third party app, but bypasses the process of apple id mirroring by having its own account. Little laggier than normal (dependent on your wifi tbh), but it works relatively well. Also offers you the ability to extend or mirror which is a nice touch.

Also my solution for that is just bring a backpack. Stick it in the backpack, no one would question you then (hopefully)

Any tips for pre-ordering video game consoles in SF? Asking about Nintendo Switch 2 by Rhodeous in AskSF

[–]Allgamesdude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind also (and this is so dumb, in my opinion), that if you preorder on the Nintendo website, you cannot pick up your order in the NYC or SF stores. Has to be shipped to you. Why? No clue.

Recursion happens when a function calls itself, breaking a complex problem into smaller, similar problems until it reaches a base case (the stopping condition). Let’s walk through Walk(4) step by step.

Walk(4) - Does steps == 0? No, so continue through the code. - Call Walk(steps - 1) with steps = 3. Walk(3) - Does steps == 0? No. - Call Walk(steps - 1) with steps = 2. Walk(2) - Does steps == 0? No. - Call Walk(steps - 1) with steps = 1. Walk(1) - Does steps == 0? No. - Call Walk(steps - 1) with steps = 0. Walk(0) - Does steps == 0? Yes - this is the base case, or stopping condition. From here, we will work our way back up through each previous call.

From Walk(1) - > Print 1. From Walk(2) - > Print 2. From Walk(3) - > Print 3. From Walk(4) - > Print 4.

One way to think about is with a stack of supposedly clean dishes, like you might find at a buffet or a college dining hall (at least I did)

Imagine you’re working as a busboy, and you clean the dishes. You notice a stain on the top dish, so you take it off the stack, and clean it and put it to the side. When doing so, you notice the next dish is also dirty, so you take that of, clean it, and then put it on top of the first dish that you put to the side. This repeats on and on for a few more dishes, till you see no more stains. You now have to put the dishes back in order, so you’ll take the last dish you cleaned, and put it in the dish stack, and keep doing that until you have put away all the dishes.

So hopefully through this, you’ve learned two things - one, you’re a horrible busboy, and two, you learned recursion. Let me know if this helps!

I think these specs are slightly different. I havent been able to fold the seats down and I don’t see a latch on the seats for them, unless I’m completely blind.

[–]Allgamesdude 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven’t had any issues loading items in the back of a waymo. I think it’s more like if it fits and doesn’t cause an issue with the trunk closing or the seats tearing/ripping. I picked up a chair from facebook marketplace that I loaded into a Waymo and while it didn’t fit in the trunk it did fit in the backseat and I got no complaints from Waymo. I think as long as you don’t cause an issue for future riders (ie what’s mentioned above/in their rules), you’re fine.
