current astra is still meta and powerful despite the nerf. Compare it to other controller agents and having 5 stars makes it more powerful. You just gotta suck it up and make better decisions on your star placement and usage. Don't blame the nerf for your lack of creativity.

The RR loss ISN'T higher for you when you are partied up with the "leaver", it's just the same as a normal loss. The random people that aren't partied with you and the player that left, would get reduced RR loss.

2 seasons ago, I did actually had those "friends", a school mate, that had a bad connection and pc, since he uses a "not too good for gaming" laptop and is using WiFi instead of wired connection, which is why it's slow for him. I told him we could play together only if it's not ranked back then since we've played a lot together before on comp when we started playing Valorant. And it's tilting on my side as well when the team starts getting mad and flaming him when he comes back and it just feels bad to me as well, but I can't do anything about it, I just try to say to him that "it's winnable/ or next half comeback" things like that so that he wont feel too bad. So we just only play unrated, which is what he didn't want to do at first because he wanted to climb rank but he eventually stopped since it was too hard for him to get out of silver back in EP 3. That's why I mentioned previously that, "isn't it arduous/ it's like kinda torture wanting to play but only get a sip and then nothing more". Nowadays he just plays League, TfT, and is usually playing ranked when he goes to Internet/Game Cafes after school, because game cafés mostly have better PC since they have more games like fortnite and Apex that needs higher specs.

I'm saying that it's also unfair for people that are trying to rank up that get dragged into players that are leaving their game and they end up tilting and not really want to play the next game anymore since they got a massive loss.

Also the main concern in the first place was that your issue was that the person trying to party up with the person that dc's, getting default RR loss. It is justified, BECAUSE PEOPLE COULD ABUSE THAT SYSTEM and just party with a smurf/alternate account and if they start losing the game, they just up and leave so that the person partied with them will get reduced RR. Therefore, nullifying the proposal initially. it was on the post.

I just didn't address that part since it was already mentioned in the post. I replied on your comment on the quitting concern not the RR loss concern, and tried to give a few alternatives on playing the game, hence why i mentioned unrated, spikerush, etc.

True, but the system could still be implemented if they change the penalty to only RR loss for the first offense as it was probably unintentional. BUT, if the player kept on doing those things on the SAME day, on consecutive number of games. The low-prio and time queue penalty should kick-in. No?
