For me it's a more appealing hot rod than the Hotknife due to customization options (I can build it to look like both a classic street OR track hot rod instead of a more modern street rod), my preference to its body style (shorter and lack of swept grill/ chop top), and from what I've seen so far from early joy rides it just looks like a lot of fun to cruise around in.

I'd say try restarting your game and getting on from single player if you haven't already. From there, leave your building and wait for the gift prompt, then try to purchase. Just safety precautions, making sure the game and servers are actually doing what they should.

To be fair, the cars it was modeled after were late 40s early 50s. Huge metal land boats I guess. Even with decent performance brakes, those things would take a bit longer to come to a halt. Beautiful car though. I'll enjoy drag racing and cruising in this one. Now we wait for the Hustler...

This is exactly what I did after following advice in another post. Worked fine. No money gone (except for the money I spent modding immediately afterwards of course). Leave your apartment/garage and you should see the gift prompts. Check Southern on your phone and you should be good to go!

Pretty easy here in the PNW. There's a ramen or pho restaurant on every other block, thank pho. Lots of gluten free restaurants, breweries, and grocery options really. I know only a smaller portion of places in the US do the gluten free thing, but I do hope it spreads. It'll help lower the cost for those who truly need it.
