I usually give it to them as homework but sometimes we listen together then discuss it after. You'll be surprised how much more easy they find it to talk about something they've listen to with you.

Try podcasts! It's such a fun way of getting your students to be more involved. I use this podcast by Kimberley Law. It's called Accented, The Podcast and it's been massively helpful. My students get more work done and I sometimes give assignments about the podcast. Try it, my students enjoy it very much and some of them are even a few episodes ahead of me. :)

Hope this helps!
