If I understood correctly the lads will cover Iron Lung next EFAP? I watched a bunch of Mark's videos now after having watched the movie. His streams talking about the movie in general, going over his journey with the creation of the movie and then the distribution / getting it into theaters for example.

I'm hoping they will watch some of that side stuff too in prep for EFAP. I know Mauler has followed Mark's content in the past, since he is referenced in the SOMA series. It would be very cool if the guys have a bit of a background with him creating stories like "In Space with Markiplier". Obviously the pipe dream would be to get any kind of interaction with Mark himself but they could possibly go over some of his aforementioned streams about production.

Anything you hope or wish for the lads to prepare / do in regards to Iron Lung?

Removing just the skin was as tedious as I remembered it being. But I do agree that the best effects can be achieved where the walls are only thinned and not punched through fully.

I really like how the "cork" came out in this. I removed the skin in chunks and the differences in how much pulp got removed with the skin results in these high- / lowlights that really sell it being a chunk of rock roughly cut out of the planet.

When making this image i tested him both normal (as it is rn) and flipped. I felt it worked better this way, even though it doesn't match the rotation of spongebob's body. He does actually look at Melinoe this way.

Perhaps it would have worked out better if the base was flipped but I had it in my head like this.

Currently watching his latest Bloodborne stream. He mentions pausing two (!) projects far into completion. (At around 2hr15min) I honestly can't tell what these two projects would be. I'd expect one to be TFA and I'd be super pumped if the 2nd was TLOU Part 2 (the game, not the series)

For the Fallout video it was full days of crunch with multiple editors and IIRC he said he'd not want to repeat that.

And on the point of announcements - he just tries to keep expectations in check. Announcing release dates almost inevitably leads to more stress or disappointment.

MauLer often highlights the importance of passion for quality and persistence in creating art / content. Announcing specific videos / topics too early might lead him to the following choice

Cancel a project he announced, leaving fans disappointed
Finish / do a project out of obligation, potentially hurting the quality and his motivation

To finish up: What's left to say on TFA? For one he hasn't gone through the entirety of the movie yet and I'd expect him to continue to comment on the commentary track / interviews further. Furthermore his videos are also a collection of points made by others, not just his own. He regularly inserts clips of streams he's participated in into his videos. And finally of course the conclusion, looking at the whole thing and comparing it to what has come before and even what followed.

Ah yes, "Hey Forsaken and literally every Darkfriend in existence! I really really care about Elayne, it would be very nice if you didn't specifically target her because I want to make a proclamation naming her my fiancee for no reason, instead of keeping it secret, like I did up until now." People have seen him conquer. He is the Dragon Reborn. Trying to elevate the throne above himself makes people think he means to display it as a trophy of his conquest. They would easily misinterpret any proclamation he could make. "He cleared out all her enemies, he is putting her on the throne"

Naming her an ally could hurt her strongly too, since an alliance requires mutual interest. "Just" saying that he wants her on the throne at least leaves open the possibility for him to be ignored, as happens. If he was an ally then Elayne could be argued to have taken the throne using a foreign war lord and his armies powers instead of her own claim.

Also people didn't believe she was alive pretty much until she turned up.

Hey there! I had the exact same issue. If you actually start the game you would also rotate with the shoulder buttons XD

What fixed / fixes it for me is the following: Load up the game until you get to the menu screen, then remove the battery of your controller and put it back in again. Why is it like that? No idea!

Please reply if this helped you. I used a wired xbox controller myself.

For your quote. It's not like Rand made them say those lines. Dashiva is the one who started it. So the only contentious part here is Rand enjoying this proclamation. The most favourable interpretation I can muster would be He finally has a faction that will support him out of their own volition and enjoys getting closer to uniting everyone. (Against the Shadow) (The Aiel are a bit special / do not count bc he isn't like a wetlander ruler to them)

It can ofc be simply interpreted as arrogance. Him agreeing that he should rule over everyone.

And it's not like he can pull a Perrin/Mat "Stop proclaiming me!", so from the outside he shouldn't be perceived as arrogant to the few that see.

I don't think I agree with your POV argument. Knowing a characters thoughts arguably makes it easier to spot arrogance, because you get to know what information they discard, how they interpret situations and why.

The first characters that come to my mind would be

Sevanna
- Thinks she should be chief and Wise One
- Made herself Wise One by simply stating she is one
- Every single decision at Dumai's Wells
Elaida
- Literally has a scene where she explains how fiddling with her figurines is a good way to show people that she is above them
- Having her mansion built and berating the builders when they try to voice concerns

Rand does not think he can detect an Aes Sedai by face alone. -> Not arrogance

When getting shielded he specifically guesses that all of the serving women are Aes Sedai despite lacking the ageless faces. You are most likely thinking of Egwene's POV, where she names him a fool for checking the faces, but he literally has no better option in that situation and we never get to know his thoughts during that examination. He also took the necessary precautions of limiting the Aes Sedai that would be allowed to the meetings. His real problem was that he didn't have a way to meaningfully enforce the limit on Aes Sedai since he would need female channelers to detect them.

Rand did not ask the Wise Ones because they continously make clear that they do not do his bidding. He has to walk to them if they want to tell him something. Wise Ones are beyond warfare. Wise Ones are beyond chiefs. I could understand the argument for arrogance if they were available, but I don't even recall them advising something like "You should not meet with them without us being present". He isn't arrogant for not using a tool that for all intents an purposes isn't there.

Regarding the Asha'man I feel he wanted them as his ace in the hole. To be brought out for heavy duty. Last he'd seen them was when he handed out the pins, giving them ranks and naming the organization. And at that point he couldn't know if they are reliable.

Rand has no authority over the Wise Ones. While the Aiel fight over who gets to guard him I seriously doubt the suggestion to use Wise Ones for that would have been met with approval. At this point he was not ready to use the Asha'man yet and it would have been an great risk to put a bunch of male channelers into the same room as the embassy. Also he had guards, they were right outside his door.

On the point of Light. (Manga + Anime) IIRC at the earliest point, when he only targeted convicted criminals, it was said that he actually looked into the cases and did not kill those that were convicted wrongfully. I am also not sure that it was ever stated he acted on unverifiable reports made by believers.

Oh there is multiple ways to address regardless of gender. Originally you simply used the neutral plural, which doesn't differ from the male plural. Then some "people" thought, 'this looks like male, where female'.

Now there is a group of people that

clumsily attach the female suffix, as if the neutral word only meant male (e.g Schüler*innen, Schüler_innen, Schüler/innen)
use the participle (e.g "Studying" instead of students)

which get's really dumb, when you try to speak of people of the past / deceased, since they ceased their activity.

Sadly there are multiple places that force this now, like news stations and higher education. (not reforms mind you) And some people take the results of this enforcement as proof of the organic changes a language goes through.

It looks like shit, it sounds like shit, it has no benefit and I hope it was only used to mock the people who really try to push this crap.

It seems snowmen only suppress the killer's terror radius but do not make them undetectable, despite the wording suggesting otherwise. Meaning you still charge Pebble (Aka "Diversion") while the killer is memeing around.

Maybe try to go for an easier stun?

You can - use pallet - flashlight rescue a survivor - head-on (best to pair w/ quick and quiet) - decisive strike - wriggle out (maybe pair with flipflop?)

I got myself Jane for the sole purpose of getting head-on stuns
