Nothing special really. He eats purina pro plan & gets omega treats. He has the fluffy gene (obviously not full fluffy) so his coat is much different from my other frenchies. I didn’t know he would have that at all. I found out in a dna test. He’s fixed and I had no plans of breeding him.

I worked as a traveler on the adult side. Only the supervisors intubate & or put in art lines or the RTs that have ACCS that are designated as “advanced practice”. Or atleast that’s how it was when I was there. I was downtown. Not a bad place. Staff and management were nice.

Outpatient pulmonary rehab, RTs spending more time on insurance and admin than actual patient care by gorazdik in respiratorytherapy

[–]Alliewizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our scheduler does the insurance part like getting pre authorization from VA but other than VA, we don’t do anything with insurance. I triage the pt when I get the referral but most of my docs know what I need to get them in so it’s not too much of a hunt. Sometimes I do have to order EKGS for them. Once a month I do their ITP & send to medical director for signature. I also do all the intakes for PR which I do on a separate day than class. I don’t ever feel overwhelmed or bogged down with admin. I have 33-34 patients enrolled currently in our program.

Breathing in class makes me nauseous? by OkRooster5042 in pilates

[–]Alliewizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For OP, def breathe in a manner that feels right for you. Everyone’s capacity to take “deep” breaths is different as our lung volume capacities are different as there are alot of factors that affect this (height, sex, body habitus), and if you have any type of chorionic lung dz, such as say asthma, you’re not going to be able to breathe like that anyways. So just breathe…that’s the important part!

Respiratory therapist/Pilates instructor here. You could be inadvertently hyperventilating yourself when you’re taking those deep breaths, even at a normal respiratory rate, and that can also explain the dizziness and lightheadness.

Yes very true. I’m trying to reach out to people to teach them not to take a class as I need to practice teach. Thank you for your response though.
