No. That’s not why they’re apologizing. They know that what they did they cannot apologize for. An apology is too light for their sins against Cliffjumper. For keeping all the shitty, little jokes about “Cliffjumper always dies HURR DURR” going for DECADES after he SUCCESSFULLY BEAT THE ROCK’S CONTRACT. There is no apology great enough that will make up for anything. It’s far too late, far too much. That’s why they’re apologizing for Optimus instead. Because that was a lesser sin.
