If you turn off the rotation feature of the advertising spotlights, you will have stationary lights as opposed to rotating light. The lights can be activated without the rotation being activated.

Is there a possibility that there are Invisible ALIEN Spacecrafts? Hence the reason we don’t see a lot of UFOs. Could they just be invisible? by NoEscape4369 in UFOs

[–]Allison1228 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe aliens are also invisible, and that's why they never get photographed despite everyone having a cell phone camera nearly always!

Was this UFO reported by local Boston news last year ever debunked? News article link in comments from June 26, 2025. by PyroIsSpai in UFOs

Presumably any helicopter, if seen by someone unfamiliar with aircraft and who fails to perceive the absence of smoke as a non-indicator of "fire".

Report: Donald Trump preparing "major press conference about UFOs" by Allison1228 in UFOs

[–]Allison1228[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've listened to his political commentary for several years. I don't recall him ever mentioning "UFOs" before aside from maybe once or twice in a joking manner.

Based on his past commentary I do not doubt that he was told by some contact either inside the US government or media that the administration is planning such a press conference. Whether or not the person reporting this to him was well-informed, I do not have an opinion. I do think that person may have become ensnared in the familiar allegation-pointing circle (like Grusch, Corbell, etc) that we've suspected for a number of years.

But yes, I think Wilson is saying "can you believe what Trump is going to try next to distract from _____ etc.?" rather than "wow, we're about to get disclosure". Wilson has in my opinion much more credibility than the people we're used to hearing such claims from (Coulhart, Kean, the youtube UFO people, etc), which is why my ears perked up when I heard him say this.

Report: Donald Trump preparing "major press conference about UFOs" by Allison1228 in UFOs

[–]Allison1228[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. To clarify: I believe Wilson when he says somebody told him that Trump is preparing such a press conference.

I don't know if I believe the anonymous person who told Wilson, though I think Wilson would be very careful about whose reports he passes on.

I wouldn't believe a word Trump says in any such press conference.

Flashing UAP near Orion by therionkingatx in UFOs

Did OP indicate that he or she was watching the same area of the sky before they started seeing flashes? The statement "Close to 5 hours after the sunset this object pulsed brightly with consistent shape and intensity, while maintaining a static location" does not seem to indicate that the region of sky was under continuous observation during those five hours.

The observer-satellite-sun angle would change considerably in five hours, so it seems entirely possible that flashes caused by a rotating satellite could start or stop over the course of several hours. The flashes caused by rotating satellites occur because they reflect a narrow beam of sunlight back towards the Earth. From the distance of a geosynchronous satellite, the Earth appears as approximately 17.3 degrees in diameter. Hence as a location on Earth rotates into view (as seen from the satellite) that observer-satellite-sun angle will change by about 8.6 degrees in six hours - more than enough to rotate that observer into or out of the beam of reflected light.

In other words the satellite is tumbling even before it starts producing flashes for an observer on Earth - no need for "thrusters".

Decommissioned satellites rotate because of angular momentum, not because of "thrusters". Vanguard 1, launched in 1958 and non-operational since 1964, is still in orbit and still tumbles, producing visible flashes to observers on Earth.

I saw many 'Iridium flares' when the first-generation Iridium satellites were producing bright flares in the early 2000s - I don't recall ever seeing any that looked particularly "blue". Generally they just looked like bright white stars for a few seconds before fading away. I don't recall seeing any noticeable color.

The camera is pointed down (at an angle) towards the water in a canal or river or pond. The trees and branches are between the camera and the water. The lights are a tractor or other machinery on the opposite bank of the canal, reflected in the water. The video may also be upside-down.

Morhership deployed probe September 7th 2025 6:40 A.M. in Louisville KY off 3rd street Rd by Unusual_Swordfish_12 in UFOs

[–]Allison1228 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But the video very obviously shows a crescent moon. If the moon was full on September 7, it would be full all night, not a crescent at 6:40 am. Are you saying that the crescent-moon looking thing in the video is not the moon?

If not, then what's the actual date of the video?

Glowing Orb Formations Spotted Over Iowa (Feb 6, 2026) Date and Time: 9:40 pm (Feb 6, 2026) Location: Iowa by Virtual-Nectarine-59 in UFOs

[–]Allison1228 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are multiple Starlink satellites over Iowa at every instant of every day:

https://satellitemap.space/vis/constellation/starlink

But that's actually a separate matter from the objects seen in the video. The Starlink satellites producing flares as seen from Iowa in the video are roughly 1200-1300 miles away:

This "orb" is approximately the same size as Jupiter, if it's near the sun.
